  1. Did the Norwich City manager spring to your mind to?
  2. Is it selling hot-dogs on the way into the ground?
  3. So, we definitely still need a No.9.
  4. One thing experience has taught me is take press reports and ITK people's posts about transfer dealings with equally large portions of salt. Even someone high up at the club can think a deal is nearly done and things still don't work out.
  5. Like most transfer threads, what it most needs is to be deleted and forgotten about. 😀
  6. The yahoos will always clutch at any excuse when things don't go their way but fans not being at matches was definitely one of them when we won 55. Can't believe any Bear would go along with it, in all honesty but we do have all sorts among us, I suppose. 🙄
  7. Couldn't agree more.
  8. That post aligns perfectly with the yahoo narrative. We won the league, fair and square - end of.
  9. In the real world, football matches aren't won by belief bolstered comments on discussion forums by people who won't even be at the match. I'm in my 40s and our record at Parkhead has been utterly abysmal my entire life. Recently, it has been worse than abysmal. I'm a pessimist and that won't change, nor will it remotely impact Saturday's result. Gerrard seemed to drill the correct mentality into the players when we went there and I hope Clement can have a similar effect.
  10. The game's on Saturday. People go on about the supreme importance of every single derby against them. We play them 4-6 times a season - this is only the second league encounter. It's not that important.
  11. I agree, to an extent. It's quite tedious at times. However, Foden and Silva's finishes were both immense. And it's always fun to see Jordan Pickford and thousands of Scousers spewing. 😀
  12. If we offer Hearts anywhere near £5m, I certainly won't be laughing. I hope Clement and the new guy are looking further afield.
  13. I was mocking your double 'r' error. Honest.
  14. I'd always settle for a draw at the Piggery. We've been getting results recently but our performances haven't filled me with confidence. The main thing is, don't play like shitebags like we have on most of our recent visits - get at them, harrass them and get the ball forward at every opportunity.
  15. From what I can gather, travelling on the day of an evening match is their standard procedure. Punishing skint provincial clubs for stuff like this would be just another way to make football less even and less appealing (take an extra £15-25k out of their annual budget and then moan about them playing defensively - erm...).
  16. Aye, it's certainly not ideal and I feel sorry for fans heading from further away. Must be a real pain in the neck. From a football point of view, I think it might be quite handy. Hopefully I'm right.
  17. I think that is harsh. The kick off is at 7.45pm, so they didn't need to be down last night and by the time the weather forecast is actually worth paying attention to, I'd imagine hotels with suitable facilities available would be non-existent. Our kick off at Dens was delayed due to our team bus being late.
  18. Or sample the exotic and seductive football of the Edinburgh derby, on a particularly blustery evening.
  19. I'd imagine it's simply down to costs (I'm guessing putting up their squad and management in a good hotel would cost around £3k and they'd need plenty of notice to arrange it).
  20. Gives us more time to prepare for our trip to the Crime Scene. Could be worse.
  21. The yahoos and their daft conspiracy theories - a never ending story.
