Did Beale give any insightful answers during his press conferences? My stance hasn't changed - I've always thought press conferences, pre and post match interviews etc. are a load of shite. Beale's accent and general demeanor got on my nerves, he was quite unlikeable.

Don't think it's quite that simple. Sacking him would cost us a fortune. There are no obvious replacements. We only have skeleton staff at board level. We knew this wasn't going to be easy. We can't keep sacking managers ever Autumn.

I think they made it pretty clear they're going to stick by him this season when they gave him the contract extension. I expect things will have to go really badly for him to be sacked. Judging by Sunday's performance, that's a distinct possibility.

There's nearly 50,000 at our home matches, so you'll probably find there are various responses to each situation. The online support tends to be a bit more unhinged. An odd reaction to the current situation would to have a go at the support.

Good way to get players fit and ready for first team action though.
