  1. Before anyone gets carried away, Hamilton are on a run of four successive defeats. Good turnaround tonight but we need to start winning big games.
  2. I'm genuinely intrigued to see how we play tonight. It's a big game, for all the wrong reasons. Mon The Rangers!
  3. McLaughlin really is an odious excuse for a journalist.
  4. Premier Sin(n). Sums up what goes on at the nearby Bhoys club.
  5. It's our job to fix it. Revelling in victimhood is a Timmy trait and one I don't subscribe to you. Our board, players and management need to stand tall and put the plastics in their place.
  6. I like Dodoo. Looks a clever player but maybe doesn't have the right attitude. He creates space and can finish...just needs to display more testicular fortitude.
  7. Any Rangers articles or pictures relating to the 70s are enjoyable. I missed it all (born in '79) but the players, Jock Wallace, The Derry, Ibrox Park and the fans - it was a truly golden era after two things from which the club may never have recovered (Ibrox disaster and that lot wiinning 9 - not that the two things are comparable), if it weren't for our spirit and work ethic. Parlane was a favourite and deservedly so. Remember Bears, we can get back on top again.
  8. Looks like they were fighting amongst themselves. Hopefully a few injuries were sustained.
  9. I wouldn't believe a word printed in the Record or the Sun. Let's see how we perform on Friday night.
  10. Bears can't seem to agree on much. Nothing surprises me any more, sadly. We are our own worst enemy.
  11. Good luck to the young Bears. Given the financial advantage the yahoos have, it is essential we see some first teamers emerge from the youth set-ups. Aiden Wilson, Ross McCrorie and Barjonas have all impressed me, so I'm optimistic.
  12. Foderingham 6 Tavernier 6 Cardoso 6 McCrorie 7 Hodson 3 Candeias 5 Jack 6 Dorrans 5 Windass 5 Pena 6 Morelos 7 Subs : Miller 2 Herrera 3 Nemane 4
  13. You'd think if we drop any more than 3 or 4 points from those 8 matches, he'll be struggling to hold on. I'd say give him until Christmas and if our form hasn't improved a fair bit, it's time to look elsewhere. We can't carry on like this and the support will start getting on his back. He has the players at his disposal to improve on last season's points tally and if it doesn't look like he's going to do that, then he isn't the man to push us towards where we need to be.
  14. After 6 years without a (major) trophy, winning one whilst ending the scum's unbeaten run would be magic!
  15. I'm worried enough about Friday night without even thinking that far ahead.
  16. And Aberdeen will have a game in hand. This acceptance of mediocrity is indicative of the current malaise at Ibrox. I'm not saying we should be winning the league or hammering Celtc but we should be doing better than this. Our team has looked no better than also-rans and we're two months into the season with no evidence to suggest any improvements are occurring.
  17. In our three 'big' home games, against Hibs, Hearts and that lot, we've taken a grand total of 1 point. You get the feeling 3 or 4 good signings could turn this around but I don't see much improvement on anything we saw last season (under both managers). The fact that in his three matches against Celtc, PC has seemingly learned nothing and we just keep turning up and getting comfortably beaten. We had better players on Saturday than we did last season but the performance was ominously similar.
  18. If xenophobia is prevalent, why are Cardoso and Herrera (the compatriots of the two you mention) not getting stick? Fans and journalists will always criticise players. The former because we want to win every match 10-0 and the latter because they want to sell papers.
  19. I can accept losing to a scum side who clearly have better players. It's the manner of the defeats that is far more disappointing - we look gutless and never learn from previous defeats.
  20. I had hoped Alvez would get the team buy the scruff of the neck and instill a more siege-like mentality but that hasn't happened. I could say the same about Dorrans.
  21. To an extent, yes. But not always, as Barjonas and McCrorie have shown.
