  1. Blaming the referees won't fix us.
  2. That was tough to take. Not good enough...again. It's quite depressing but I'm actually glad we're not facing that lot at Hampden. How times change... Pedro won't last. Get Tommy Wright in.
  3. So not so optimistic anymore, dB?
  4. I agree, Frankie. My political persuasion is certainly different from most Bears (I'm Left wing) and I can live with that. Listening to today's game on the radio. Gutted...again.
  5. Be me? When I was about 15 (mid 90s). Others are entitled to make up their own mind. Quite happy with my decision and content with our glorious songbook. I know an SNP voting Bear and he tells me he feels uncomfortable at Ibrox...good.
  6. Good to see Miller out of the squad, although I'm disappointed Windass is there.
  7. If you say so. Rangers are a Unionist club - that's quite straightforward as far as I'm concerned.
  8. The SNP are basically Tims. They want to break up the UK. Anyone who says otherwise is deluded.
  9. A few of my Hibs pals are Unionists and one, who is more of an aquintance, is in the SDL. I had an odd night in the pub a few weeks ago where me and a Hibee were arguing with an SNP supporting Hearts fan. I felt a wee bit weird. But I hate Hibs and don't really like Leith much.
  10. I remember, as a young kid, listening to BBC Scotland every Saturday to hear how Rangers were doing. How times have changed. I try to ignore the vast majority of football pundits and commentators these days, although BT's European Football Show on Sunday nights is excellent.
  11. Hibs really are a rancid club. I live in Edinburgh and have a few Hibee pals but as a collective I despise them more and more.
  12. More like the Money Cup. That's what it's all about.
  13. Sporting chaps? I'd prefer to give the wee tinks the middle finger.
  14. I'm not sure it will be a comfortable win - I'm expecting a close match and both teams to score. As for congratulating the opposition after they beat us...I'd have agreed prior to 2012. Not now though.
  15. Agreed, Bill. The CL is just a football Robin Hood in reverse. It should be renamed as half the clubs are not champions.
  16. I'd be happy if Hibs and Celtc both disappeared. Two horrible clubs.
  17. Rodgers has a team that is easily winning the Scottish league so it will take some time for him to be questioned on results. Getting humped against PSG and Bayern Munich is pretty much expected.
  18. Well, what do you intend to do to sort out the yahoo infested media? Me, I don't buy any papers and I couldn't care less how we're portrayed overseas. Scottish teams, unlike those in England, Spain, Germany and Italy, don't get any revenue from outside of Scotland/Britain. We'll always be here, despite what Tom English or Chris Sutton say.
  19. If you want us to stand and have a reasoned argument with everyone who claims our club died then you must have a lot of spare time on your hands and might be a tad delusional (if you think it might have any impact). I hear it every day at work. Responding with laugher or my preferred option, "What's Jim Torbett up to these days?" take little time and shut them up a lot quicker.
  20. I get a sore head when Chris Sutton does co-commentary on our matches. I also suffer from anxiety issues thinking about Chris McLaughlin or Neil Lennon coming on the TV unexpectedly (extreme ugliness stresses me out).
  21. "Windass and Pena haven't been quite as effective". Pena scored two cracking goals on Friday night. Lumping him in with Windass in terms of effectiveness is a bit unfair.
  22. Even watching them makes me feel a bit sick. I never watch Celtc unless they're playing us or I've been informed they're being beaten comfortably in a European match. My wife once asked me why I didn't have the midweek football on. I replied, "It's Celtc, I wouldn't pollute my living room with that filth.".
  23. I have tried taking several approaches with Tims who claim we're a new club. I'd state quite honestly that just laughing at them is by far the best response - others only prove to them their factually incorrect claims are gaining traction. As for people in Munich, Timbuktu or Buenos Aires - it makes little difference what they think about Rangers. We are the same club and this has been confirmed by the football bodies that matter (SFA and UEFA). End of.
