A winning team will see the biggest improvement all round. Here's hoping.
  2. If you had no idea about Scottish football and then watched Chris Sutton and Neil McCann on TV doing punditry and then looked into who they had played for, who would you suspect are a classier bunch? Unfortunately, sometimes arrogant, obnoxious, snidey gits get their way and people with class take a back seat. We can see that all over the Scottish sports media.
  3. Puts things in perspective. Best wishes to Ricksen and his family.
  4. Neil McCann comes across well doing punditry.
  5. Maintaining neutrality, being reasonable, decency and dignity. All things Yahoos are incapable of. There's also a job safety element at play, which may disappoint us as supporters but it is also understandable. Do you throw away a steady good income in the name of honesty? Most people wouldn't. The Tims have infested every area of Scottish society and we have to educate ourselves and our sons in order to take them on in the future because they won't stop until we are an insignificance.
  6. I don't read Tim blogs. Never will. But you hear a lot about them on various Rangers sites.
  7. We'll have to wait until we appoint a new manager before we can attain real stability, although I hope you're right and we kick on from here.
  8. Potter has done an incredible job in Sweden but who knows how he'd do at a club of our stature. Expectation levels are on a different planet.
  9. King did a bloody good job getting the club out of the hands of the rats. I'm not interested in his tax dealings in SA providing he does a good job at Rangers. So far, he's doing an okay job. As for the "convicted felon" stuff, reads like a Tim blog.
  10. With Hibs going 3rd (albeit with a game in hand), we could really do with a good win tomorrow. Our home form has been problematic but hopefully Murty can do something about that.
  11. I don't like the Tories. But in SNP Scotland even Tories are our friends, so I wouldn't cast him to the wolves. We have enemies...some of them amongst us.
  12. "Peter Lawell pressed the button so I sent the Rangers player off.". That's that covered.

    Halloween.

    Would it be Dalcio, pete?
  14. I've always fancied one of these...but I'd probably give it to my dad, if I won one. I'd be too scared to lose it.
  15. I heard his preferred Scottish side is the other lot. To be fair, you can be respectful to clubs you're not a fan of.
  16. 7-0 against Barcelona, losing to Red Imps and their worst ever home result (5-0) spring immediately to mind.
  17. He looks a better defender than Wilson or Cardoso, although it's early days. I'd start with him and Alvez.
  18. Things seem to have gone quiet about us looking for a new manager. I'm happy with that - I'd rather the club takes extra time to appoint the right man.
  19. I didn't realise the '92 final was the last one with the open terraces. I was in the Main Stand that day and remember it being remarkably cold for the time of year.
  20. I'd say there are several contributory factors as to why many Bears wouldn't accept Lennnon as manager. I'll accept an ex-Celtc player coming to play for us (although I'd prefer not to) but not as manager. If you're following in Struth, Waddell, Wallace and Smith's footsteps, you have to have a certain pedigree.
  21. No wonder Rangers are a shadow of our old selves when there are Bears prepared to turn a blind eye to that hideous cretin gobbing on our colours.
  22. You don't care about him spitting on a Rangers scarf, getting in scraps up Ashton Lane or looking like a deformed potato in his odd-fitting tracksuit? Hmmm.
  23. We are in a similar place we were in when we recruited PC. We really can't afford another dud. I think Wright and McInnes would both improve us but perhaps not to the extent required. I don't have a preferred choice but just hope the board get the right man this time.
  24. A good read. Sounds promising.
  25. I'd prefer to get a new manager in place in the next few weeks. It'll his job, along with the DoF, to see what areas need improvement.
