  1. A Christian teacher at a Christian school. We're not very inclusive when it comes to Christian beliefs these days.
  2. What about Daniel by Elton John? It'll fit in with our LGBT weekend*. *Please take this in the humour it is intended.
  3. You refer to a "chromosomal abnormality" there, Big Jaws. That's quite an offensive and archaic way to refer to non-binary humans and their inner workings. Next week I will be identifying as a Persian hermaphrodite, with webbed feet and three nipples and look forward to the day footballers wear something which includes me.
  4. Let me explain, when I take my young son to Ibrox (as I have done on several occasions), I really don't want to have to get into a discussion about sexuality/gender-fluidity with him if he asks the reason for the laces (no doubt there will be mention of it in the programme or on the big screen). I have no issues with consenting adults doing whatever they want with each other. Fans are often told not to bring politics to football matches and yet, here were are, subjected to political campaigns at the football. I hope that clears it up and I look forward to laces celebrating other sexual proclivities if we're going down this road (I have a thing for the Dimples of Venus, myself).
  5. The Union Flag has the crosses of St Andrew, St George and St Patrick - the England fans who took it to England matches were just ignorant. As an aside, Wales isn't represented as their national flag is a pagan symbol (dragon).
  6. Reminds me of the film 'Just A Boy's Game'..."McCafferty, your tea's oot!". How many Celtic employees have been convicted of sexual assault now?
  7. Documentary now on the i-player. Whatever you think of Liverpool, Shankly was a truly great manager and by all accounts, a very good bloke. Worth a watch.
  8. Truly cringeworthy. It was a very political statement (their display against the Israeli side) and yet still they went unpunished. Bizarre.
  9. If all four are fit, I'd play Alves and McCrorie. Wilson and Cardoso are both prone to costly mistakes.
  10. I'm surprised no one has posted a pic of Statto from Fantasy Football yet.
  11. It was a Saltire with Yes written across it. So it represents 45% of Scotland, rather than Scotland. And you can't wave a Union Jack at Ibrox as Ibrox isn't a boat. It's the Union Flag you'd be waving. I love a bit of banter at the football and welcome it from opposition fans. When I go to Ibrox, I'm usually in GF2 and often enjoy the wind-ups with opposition fans.
  12. No, it wouldn't. I've witnessed similar things at many matches all over Scotland - it's water off a duck's back.
  13. I agree, Frankie. I don't think those flags warranted them being thrown out, although I suspect words were probably said that also contributed. Laughing at a wind up is usually the best response.
  14. The Thistle fans held it up alongside a Yes flag. The intent was obvious.
  15. I think football is over-analysed these days. Stats are useful for managers and coaches but they bore me. But I'm probably just a dinosaur.
  16. They were kicked out during the second half of the match. Either you're misinformed or deliberately lying. Apologies to the rest of the forum - these tit for tats are tedious.
  17. That's a blatant lie! The joke was made in relation to Thistle fans waving Yes/Catalan flags at Ibrox and had nothing to do with a minute's silence. Poor attempt to justify your over-sensitivity.
  18. I'd be happy if we just ignored McInnes. He won't get us winning the league. He's content getting beat by the scum, which is unacceptable.
  19. Comes across well in that interview. Rising above it. The blokes in kilts can deal with it.
  20. The Tims lap that stuff up. Siege mentality is our best bet. Let's stick together.
