Not looking forward to the match at all. I'll probably end up not watching it because I'll have my wee boy to look after and don't want him to see it or hear the things I'd end up saying (hard enough getting him interested as it is). I hope we go 5-4-1 and just try to stop them.

Judging by the manager situation, I wouldn't hold out much hope regarding lining up replacements. The Killie winger looks as good as Walker (Hearts), in my opinion. Still struggling to see any Scottish creative midfielders though...we may have to go overseas to find one of those.

It'll be 30 years since Walters signed on 31st December 1987. I was just 8 but remember instantly liking Walters (his first Rangers shirt was also my first Rangers shirt). His goal in the hammering we gave Celtc cemented my feelings. I remember my dad ranting away about the disgusting abuse Walters endured on his debut at the Piggery (justifiably) and being confused about why people would treat someone like that ...childish naivety, I suppose. I also recall being disappointed when he left for Liverpool. However, the standout memories are positive and stem from his great wing play and ability to take players on (something we don't see much of these days). I'll have a wee drink to Mark Walters' health on Hogmanay - he comes across as a good bloke and still speaks fondly of Rangers!

If we got a decent manager we could finish, respectably, in second. If we continue with Murty, we'll spend the season struggling to overcome Aberdeen and Hibs. That's how important it is.

Another example of why Murty isn't ready to manage a club like Rangers. We are despised and we need a manager who will stand up to what we are faced with.

I agree. The recent defeats were all unnecessary and embarrassing and the board need to act ASAP.

We could do with someone to grab the entire club by the scruff of the neck. It seems no one on the board is capable. Once that has been done, the yahoos, the press and the SFA all need grabbed too but a bit tighter and with an accompanying bear-like growl.

It's all very well being dignified but when your own players are regularly assaulted and injured as a result, a line has to be drawn. We've seen enough this season to draw that line and have a word with the incompetent buffoons at the SFA. We need to be more vocal about each incident and highlight it via the appropriate channels. If you want to turn the other cheek whilst Jack & Cardoso recuperate from broken bones then it really isn't going to change things.

I'd say the regular humiliations in Europe are as much due to lack of basic skills as anything fitness related.

Or it could be just poor decisions and overly aggressive tackling.

Jack looks to be missing a lot of matches simply due to cheating by opposition players and referees.

Any word on Jack's injury?

I think Pena would suit the diamond formation more than Niko.

Miller and Windass unavailable? Christmas came late this year.

But who is going to step in and sort us out? I don't see any queues forming.

Herrera has done nothing of note in his, admittedly limited, appearances. I'd start with Hardie and Morelos. And is Pena out of the picture (anyone know)?

I've never heard of him. Hopefully this sort of article fires our players up for the match (although, going on previous experience, I won't hold my breath).

Our poor crossing and free kicks are just another indication of how average the current team are. But we can improve with the right tactics and formations.

The St Johnstone result was, however, fully known. Murty isn't a total dud but he's nowhere near ready to manage a club the size of ours.

The board have made a complete mess of this managerial situation and the timing of the Murty announcement (in between two defeats) was the icing on the cake.

I'd prefer a 3-5-2 line up. Never feel confident with a light midfield. Is Pena out of the picture now?
