Goldson out for the season (ligament injury)
Gonzo79 replied to Sutton_blows_goats's topic in Rangers Chat
I'd rather he was available and definitely want the Saudi interest to continue. -
Most of my mates say the same thing but I assume it has more to do with the great football memories than the actual strip design, which was truly hideous. Home shirt should always be nice and plain.

Gersnet Article Summer 2024: Rip it up and start again?
Gonzo79 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Iheanacho was a cracking prospect when he was at Man City. He was initially good at Leicester too but his stock must've dropped a fair bit if we've got a chance of landing him. I'm hoping Dessers will be sold in the Summer and Danilo and A N Other are our options. -
No, different pattern and the crest is where it should be.

The crest should always be on the left breast and I can't stand it when they put any crest (especially our RFC) inside a shield. Other than that, they're okay.

[Official] Zeb Jacobs to leave club at end of season

When I said 'bear fruit' I was referring to our first team. We can make the academy work for us in other ways. -

The requirements at Rangers mean the youth set-up will never bear much fruit nowadays. We'll get lucky once in a while (Nathan Patterson) but usually we'll get shafted (Gilmour) because, either way, we can't compete with EPL clubs. -

Is there not some sort of requirement for us to have a youth academy? So, basically the same as we've been for the past 20 years or so? -
Jack Butland: Rangers Players Player And Fans Player Of The Year

All I care about is Rangers winning trophies. -

Aye, kinda looks like it. I think the next few weeks are going to be quite painful to watch. At least we're so used to it, that it won't be a shock. -

From the referee's angle, I can see why he thought it was a foul because it looked like Butland followed through with his right leg. The referees have one angle and a split second to make a decision. Football is far too soft, if you ask me. Folk greeting about songs and defenders falling over when a forward taps them on the shoulder. I'm starting to agree with my old PE teacher (rugby man), who often questioned the sexuality of football players and fans. 🤣 -

Watch Butland's right leg after he kicks the ball, on the second clip just posted (the referee's angle). That's why he got booked, as the ref thought he followed through with his right leg. -

The follow through after a fair challenge can now be a foul/booking. That's modern football for you. -

An unimpressive performance, yet again. The players just don't look bothered about winning the league and we were lucky their goalie fumbled the first and their defender slipped for the second. I couldn't feel less tense about the run-in. -

Our shooting is really dire. A bit like our passing and pace of play. -

Our bench is hardly brimming with inspirational winners. -

This. We have no chance of winning the league unless there's a drastic change in attitude. Genuinely sick of the sight of several in this team. -

We don't look up for if at all. Really disappointing first half. What's with the balls being flat? Same thing happened at Dens. -

I wasn't suggesting the alternatives are any better, although I'd be starting with McCausland on the right. -

Not a very inspiring front three, is it.
