  1. I don't think they are "missing" them. You obviously do. We have reached an impasse. We got all of those penalties though, that's the main thing.
  2. We got the penalties, so I'm not that bothered about how or why. Correct decision in the end. 🙂
  3. Would you like to back up your claim, based on conjecture, with statistics? You said they should be easy to find, so why haven't you?
  4. I've found this on ESPN - 97 VAR overturns in the EPL. 28 of them penalties. https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/38196464/how-var-decisions-affect-premier-league-club-2023-24
  5. Where would I find these statistics? I am not into stats, in general, so have no idea what websites would provide this sort of information. Rousseau might know - he's into that sort of stuff.
  6. Bit of a stretch. As is happening whenever VAR is used, referees are less inclined to make big decisions because they're fully aware VAR will let them know what the correct decision is. See the offside situation (flag rarely goes up now) for proof of this. When Dessers scored in the first game at Ibrox, the ref gave the goal and then VAR ruled it out - did the Micks and the Masons switch positions that day?
  7. I went for Diamonde - he's the one player who always looks to pass it forward and also gets into good spaces (albeit his colleagues often don't seem to notice he's in space because they're too busy looking for a sideways pass). Dessers gets a special mention - two good chances and not a shot fired. That takes some kind of special attribute for a striker.
  8. Palestine has nothing to do with Scots pretending to be Irish or Scottish football. Humza Yousaf has directly made an effort to tarnish the name of our club and support on several occasions. The two situations are entirely different.
  9. Let me get this straight, if the referee waits for VAR to award us a penalty, he's a Tim and the Masons are on VAR but if the ref gives us a goal (ie. Dessers in the first derby match) but VAR rules it out, the Mason is on the pitch and the Tim's on VAR?
  10. Humza's nonsensical statement about our title celebration or maybe him being a yahoo? Either way, fine by me.
  11. We got 11 penalties. 🤪 If we had a half decent striker, we'd have won that game by 5 or 6 goals.
  12. I'd like to make it clear I have never liked Dessers. Misses too many easy chances, fannies about, taking far too many touches, whenever he gets the ball and is outmuscled by every defender he plays against. He's shite.
  13. They're relying on VAR for big decisions. I'm unsure what people aren't getting about this, as it happens wherever VAR is used.
  14. A badly needed equaliser but I don't have much faith in us going full tilt in the second half. Dessers is worse than a waste of a jersey.
  15. Indeed. Clement needs to change things. I'd get Lundstram off, Sterling in the middle and put McCausland out wide.
  16. You do know refs are letting things go in the knowledge the VAR team can pick incidents up retrospectively? It happens in every league where VAR is used, so it definitely isn't some sort of anti-Rangers conspiracy.
  17. I'd prefer McCausland to start on the right. Then at least we'd have one actual wide attacker on the pitch.
  18. The league was done when we couldn't beat Celtc at home. We won't win leagues when we can't beat them - our record against them since Gerrard left is woeful. We've won a cup semi final and a dead rubber.
  19. The core of the team needs dismantled before a proper rebuild starts. Unless you want Goldson, Tav, Lundstram and Dessers starting for us in 2024/25, which would be silly.
  20. If Dessers took a decent percentage of his chances he'd be on about 35 goals. Not good enough.
