People seem to confuse Scottish nationalism with normal party politics. I have no real issue with people voting for any party. I do have an issue with people wanting to break up the UK though. And Rangers FC has always been a focal point for Scots who feel British, like it or not.

I spent two hours on the train and Scotrail wifi is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. On the way home from a Rangers v Celtc match, you'll tend to find that is the main topic of conversation. Maybe you talk about the weather and last night's tea on the way home from a big match but I bloody well don't. In the pub, we discussed the day's events and I never saw anyone looking at their phone, other than phoning wives/taxis etc. The march wasn't discussed there either but the various banners, card display and firecrackers were. I've spent 2 days at my work with my two ST holder colleagues. During these hours the weekend's match has been discussed at great length and that includes the atmosphere and all that entails. I don't live on trains. But I do live and work amongst fellow Rangers fans. But I'm glad someone in the States can inform me the true feeling of our support and that online anonymity provides people with testicular fortitude. Enlightening stuff...thanks.

It's strange how few objections are made to Unionism and what are often referred to as bigoted songs at Ibrox Stadium or on supporters buses. Yet online, these objections are very common. Even on this thread, I've had someone based in Oklahoma telling me what the majority of the Rangers support think of the UB march and that it's an indisputable fact that it is viewed as sinister. I witnessed the march and work beside two Ibrox ST holders (one of whom can't stand the UBs mainly because of their Ole Ole songs), neither of whom has even mentioned the march. The 8 Bears I got the train home with and then had a few drinks with in Edinburgh never mentioned it either. Not once. The internet rarely reflects the real world, thankfully.

Only one party has MSPs, MPs and councillors who continually make derogatory comments about our club. We all know EXACTLY why that is.
-
I couldn't care less what they think. I'm sure there are things going on in Oklahoma that would seem odd to me - like gun laws. But it's not really my business.
-
I'll have nightmares after seeing those pictures. No, really...
-
Just admit it, you're an extremist nutcase. We could maybe start an Extremist Nutcases Anonymous Group?
-
Definitely hysterical.
-
Okay. If you insist. I'm not trying to negate anything because your opinion is your opinion. And my opinion is that you are overreacting, so I see absolutely no need to negate your comments. As someone who got done in by opposition fans after a match, I think I'm in a reasonable place to differentiate between some young lads having a laugh and actual sinister events. But these things are subjective, I suppose.

Candeias and Morelos have been the two good things about Caixhina's spell in charge, so good to have them both on longer contracts.

The gullibility of Scottish nationalists never ceases to me amaze me.

I don't find 16 year old Rangers supporters sinister. Ever. Because they're on my side. I found the UB march a bit silly prior to Sunday but having seen it first hand and also the hysterical reactions on here, I hope they have many more and loads more Bears join in. Let our enemies know we're grizzly Bears and not cuddly ones.

So the Police and the government have nothing to do with each other? Tell British Transport Police in Scotland that, Darther. Whatever happened to Lothian and Borders Police or Strathclyde Police? Answers on a postcard to Jimmy Krankie, wobbling on high heels, Charlotte Sq, Edinburgh. Everyone in the Govan West corner got searched.
-
Who said that? What trouble do you think they would've caused without a Police escort? Obviously the march was 'toxic', 'sinister' and had 'dark elements' (all of which I've learned about on here) but what evidence is there they were looking to cause trouble?
-
Did you enjoy their banners in September 2014?
-
Now I can see why you detest the UBs so much.
-
Eveyone around me sang Rule Britannia on Sunday. Which was nice.
-
Wembley? Eh?
-
BritainFirst are a collection of idiots. But I don't recall them making derogatory comments about Rangers FC, the players or fans.
-
I still can't believe a side with Broadfoot and Boyd beat us recently.
-
I don't think we are really that diverse. And those who hate us certainly don't care about any fringe elements of our support when they regularly lump us all in together. I know a few Rangers supporters who voted Yes but they tend to avoid conversing with me now, thankfully. Must've been something I said.

I walked past Porrini near the John Greig statue after the match. Recognised him right away - nice to see foreign ex-players return to Ibrox.
-
I'm still unconvinced. He needs to beat the Tims in the cup semi to get near convincing me.

This is news to anyone? It has been blatantly obvious for years. Bears who vote for that lot are conflicted.
