  1. I've heard a few fellow Bears criticise McCausland recently but I think it's unfair. He always tries to get forward and get into the box, both of which we need more of. Yes, there's plenty of room for improvement and he's not great at tracking back but I think he can be a worthwhile player next season and further on.
  2. I trust there's a heavy dollop of sarcasm in there?
  3. Clement has suggested there's more to it than that and given our endless injury problems, it's hard not to suspect there is.
  4. Aye, ruins the spectacle and spontaneity that makes football enjoyable. Bin it.
  5. Lundstram has been our most consistent player since Clement arrived. He's been poor in recent matches though. I've been asking for our players to snap that lot for years, so not going to give him too much grief about the sending off. Just wished he'd hit the ugly wee c*** harder.
  6. The SFA are obviously taking tips from the SNP - failing upwards is the trend.
  7. Raskin doesn't do enough to be a starter. Doesn't win enough tackles, doesn't create anything - he seems to just run around a lot. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but our midfield really needs sorted out in the Summer.
  8. He got paid a lot but didn't play much. Like most of the current squad, I'll be glad to see the back of him.
  9. All very well playing well once the league is already done. If they want to prove themselves, they need to turn up at Hampden a week on Saturday. Does anyone think they will?
  10. I'd imagine there are several contributory factors to our injury problems. It won't be as simple as getting a new physio or making sure we only sign players with good injury records.
  11. Referees always hand over any objects thrown to the fourth official or the Police. Gollum, on Saturday, is the first one I've seen just throw one away. I'd like him to explain why he did that.
  12. Play the best team available. I don't think introducing youth players is a good move when the atmosphere in the stadium will be grim.
  13. Davies and King as CB pairing then. Reminds me of Liverpool.
  14. I'd imagine it'll be more of the same: a handful of signings and a couple of loanees. The whole thing is a massive balancing act. Cortes and Diamonde have looked decent, so I'm hopeful our player recruitment will be better than it has been and ultimately, that's what success will depend upon.
  15. Well, Beale not being in charge of recruitment will mean an upgrade on last Summer's efforts. We need to recruit better across the football side of things - it's that simple. I think it will take 2-3 windows to sort the squad out. There's a lot of dross needs cleared out and that's the biggest immediate issue.
  16. No one is saying that.
  17. We seem to go round and round in circles with this stuff. There won't be any major investment, there's no Mr Moneybags coming to save us and we're stuck in Scotland for the foreseeable. We just need to work better with what we've got.
  18. Maybe someone will suggest we move to the English leagues. Not had that one for a while.
  19. They chuck missiles at our players, laugh in their faces and basically have a jolly whenever they play us. Gerrard got it and drilled into our players that we need to hate them back and it worked. Why do other managers not do this? Why do our players not know instinctively what's required? Why do we play the same way there as we do at any other away match? Are the too many left footers at Rangers? I'm f*cking sick of it.
  20. Celtc are no great shakes. With some good recruitment we can win the league.
  21. I'm sure Clement will want to finish the league season with two victories and we have a cup final to prepare for, so there's no room for experiments.
  22. Think we'll struggle to find any significant investment whilst we play in Scotland. Our managerial recruitment has been poor and the board should seek more football minded people to assist with big decisions. We're still dealing with legacy problems from 2012 and Beale and his signings were a more recent disaster. The playing squad needs gutted and we need to get rid of the perennial losers like Tav and Goldson.
  23. Rodgers could've predicted how we'd play weeks in advance. We're a very predictable side.
