  1. Me wanting something isn't the same as reality. Be nice if it was though. 🤣 I have more interest in watching paint dry than looking through the club's accounts, so you'll be waiting forever. You basically said NEH was a waste of time and I don't think it is, as it'll bring in a steady revenue.
  2. Do you think Clement would admit he wanted to replace him? Managers and players don't always tell the truth (I'm unsure why i need to keep saying that). Probably not. There are various other players who can fill in for Hagi (and there's also the additional costs for playing him again) but there's only Igamane available to replace Dessers and he's an unknown quantity. The two situations aren't the same.
  3. There are various stories. I read that Dessers didn't want to leave.
  4. It's not great but the sightlines will have been taken into account by the designers. I've sat in the back few rows of the West Enclosure a few times and it's much the same there.
  5. They are real. It's quite common at stadiums where the tier above hangs over. You can see the whole pitch, so I doubt discounts will apply.
  6. People love putting words in other people's mouths on social media. I wanted Dessers replaced in January and in the Summer. I don't think he's good enough for us. I never, at any point, wanted us to buy Shankland.
  7. Agreed. In the modern game, you can't rely on one player to score the goals. Cerny scored against them too...for Ajax.
  8. Walter Smith was clever enough to drop Boyd when we played that lot.
  9. We probably won't win anything if we struggle up front against Celtc.
  10. I'd hope it was someone who could hold the ball up, not fall over every ten minutes and strike the ball well in derby matches.
  11. It was a cup quarter final, @compo. Decent performance and the third goal was a good one. I am really impressed with Jefte's progress.
  12. I've been to watch a couple of my local clubs, Spartans and Edinburgh United, as well as Hawick Royal Albert, when they're in this neck of the woods. Some of the more rough and tumble football is quite refreshing but the whole Pep style has even infiltrated the sport at this level. Why take a man on or try a long range pass, when you can pass sideways or backwards to the bloke next to you? You do get more of a laugh though, as you hear and see some weird and crazy things with much lower crowds.
  13. City used to be my English team but I'm no longer interested (only went because I thought it'd be a good match, I like Inter and I was down there for work). Seen them four times in Manchester (once at Maine Road): lost one and drawn three. That's twice I've been to see Inter: 0 goals in 180 minutes. Starting to think I might be a curse. I'm glad Ibrox isn't such a tourist attraction (small mercies and all that).
  14. I was at the Etihad on Wednesday and the amount of people around me who weren't speaking English was mental (and no, I wasn't in the Inter section). I feel sorry for genuine City fans - it ain't like it used to be. I think more and more people in England will start supporting smaller, local clubs.
  15. It's not totally unrealistic to think that external factors may have contributed. The likes of the SFA and GCC aren't exactly our friends.
  16. No but Scott7 did. I'd imagine a few Bears were put out by the uncertainty and that's never a good thing but other than that, what difference did the delay make? If it made no difference, what's the point in complaining about it retrospectively?
  17. This was your post that Scott7 responded to, asking about consequences. You were referring to the delay in the announcement confirming Hampden. Perhaps the SFA were being twats. Perhaps the club were looking at other options.
  18. I think Scott7 meant the adverse consequences of Hampden being announced quite late on, not the fact the we had to play there. That few weeks between the initial announcement about Ibrox not being ready and Hampden being announced caused a lot of messageboard debates but not much else.
  19. It'd be nice to see us at least trying to control a match from start to finish. Our phases of good play are far too intermittent.
  20. Baseless accusations can have consequences.
  21. Which fan media? A reliable source? Do we have any proof or verification?
  22. Did he though? I don't think he did.
