  1. Where does this crusade come from to have more Rangers fans denied seats at Ibrox? I keep reading it's because without 7000 Celtic fans in the stadium the "atmosphere" will be diminished, despite all the recent evidence to the contrary. I also see some making the case on the basis of "fairness", whatever that is. Is it just possible this is essentially an entirely selfish move by our away supporters to increase the number of tickets available to them at Parkhead, to the detriment of the majority of our match-going fans who attend home games only?
  2. Good luck with that
  3. Percentage alone is meaningless unless you also factor in average seat occupancy. If Aberdeen typically fill only 70% of Pittodrie and Rangers fill 95% of Ibrox, it's not hard to see which supporters are giving up more. You already have situations where clubs are cutting allocations to Rangers, knowing full well that the upshot will be even more empty seats in their stadiums. Ibrox is a completely different proposition, where every seat occupied by an opposition fan is a seat denied to a Rangers fan. For that reason, while the idea of percentage allocations might carry some abstract logic, in reality its completely unfair and self-defeating.
  4. Scott Brown, who has managed one point from five games and lost the last four on the spin. He should be available in a couple of weeks. Go for it Hibs.
  5. Lighten up misery guts. I eagerly gloat over every misfortune that comes their way.
  6. Surely the basis of any "standoff" is the number of season tickets Rangers can sell every season and the preference that has to be given to those fans. Why should Rangers fans be disadvantaged in our own stadium. We don't need 7000 baying riff raff in the Broomie to create an atmosphere in Ibrox, as recent European ties make clear.
  7. What you're actually saying is you would be happy for Rangers fans to be denied a seat in our own stadium and for Celtic fans to occupy those seats instead. That might be acceptable if thousands of Ibrox seats were otherwise normally empty at OF games but that's never going to be the case. What I cannot understand is wanting to treat Celtic differently compared with other Scottish clubs ..... because we want to impress a global audience who otherwise couldn't give a stuff about Rangers. If that mob ever get the whole Broomloan stand again then the club will have let down the Rangers support big time.
  8. Surprised no one has gone for Goldson.
  9. Yes, you'll find it in your account
  10. I'm a big fan of Hagi but if he's not going to get a game for whatever reason then it would be best for everyone if he left.
  11. A good battling performance so far. Good attitudes all round. What a goal from Tavernier, he's wasted at full back. Only the children's drum is spoiling the occasion.

    Lowry

It's tedious enough even without any comparisons. There was a time when ultras were at least interesting and different, now they're just so many clones acting out the same tragic performance week after week after week after week etc. And that fukking drum!
  13. When the political leadership in Scotland is no longer dependent on the Irish catholic community to win and retain power.
  14. A fitting correction 😂
  15. Is there any other kind of authority?
  16. Ross Co 0 Rangers 3 FGS - Roofe
  17. The least a man like Halsted would settle for is first dibs beating the UB drum.
  18. "funding rounds" "strategic exit" "successful acquisitions"
  19. I’m intrigued. How do you become a “member of the Blue Order”? 😂 Is it by invitation only or is there a formal application process? What are the qualifying requirements?
  20. No Ian, as much as I want that to be true, I thought our fullbacks were the weakest link in defence again.
  21. Damn but this positivity is potent stuff 👍
  22. I think we're being a tad harsh on our midfield last night, considering the job they were asked to do against (frankly) a better team. The three of them had a monumental task. Ryan Jack is coming in for some criticism here but I thought him and Raskin did a huge job protecting our defence, particularly our roaming fullbacks. Without their sheer work rate, particularly out of possession, we could easily have been overwhelmed in that first half and it's no surprise they all tired later on.

    MotM vs PSV

With the exception of Butland, I wish some of our recent signings had hit the ground running as hard as Cantwell and Raskin did when they came on board. I thought Cantwell was excellent last night.
