This is dreadful from a team we’re told has come to deliver a big response. -

I thought the first 15 minutes or so showed promise but then it was the same slow, miserable square passing. Disappointingly, there’s nothing new here. -

Right, here I am, full of uncertain optimism and ready to be thrilled and astounded by the rebirth of adequate football from Beale's XI. I hope I'm in the same place at full time and struggling to decide between a plethora of MOTM candidates. -

Those simply being the ones he has been able to spend time with over the international break. -
That was my reaction the first time I heard him interviewed. Speaks far to much and it doesn't take a genius to know what effect that eventually has on the playing staff. Verbal diarrhoea is a most unattractive condition.
-
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking we're finally going to take Beale's famous handbrake off. 😉
-
I'm open to correction but I make it that's a full pre-season suite warm ups and 9 competitive games so far this season and that's more than enough time for professional players to have settled in and be delivering on the pitch ... and plenty time for a manager with a clear vision to get his squad dancing to his tune. I've waited with hope for some sign of it every game and it's just not there, not even a hint of it.

I can remember when we played far better football on much worse pitches. It's a lame excuse. -
Tbh I'd like to know what he think his best team is too. I thought they went remarkably easy on him.
-
Hands up everyone who was impressed by Beale's presser today. Did "the players need to do better" cut it for you? Did you feel this signalled better fortunes ahead?
-
Yes but I'm sure the manager will have equipped us with adequate replacements for the loss of a creative attacking midfielder.
-
Neither you did but this is still Beale's squad and he must be accountable for what they do.
-
Fair enough but as far as I'm concerned that's hardly a convincing reason to persist with him
-
With respect, none of that matters if you walk away at the end of the season with nothing and your main rival has won everything. Nor do last season's results count for diddly in the current campaign.
-
This manager chose these players.
-
I interpret that as saying there is no particular reason to keep Beale as manager.
-
The point of Rangers FC is to win trophies, not to fret over something as nebulous as 'reputation'.
-
Not with this squad of players it isn't.

I don't think so either. But that's just a personal opinion and I'm not trying to give it credibility by referring to "reports". -

I don't understand why some Rangers fans are so keen to parrot "reports" that clearly come from people who wish us only ill. -
I'm just amazed at how many are willing to ignore Beale's obvious failings in order to salve their own consciences about being seen to sack him "too soon". I take the view that the interests of the club come before such sensitivities or the needs of any manager or player. If you can't actually point to a specific basis for hope, what does it matter whether he is sacked now or in two months' time. You've watched him manage the team for 10 months, you've seen his signings, you've seen who he let go and who he kept, you've seen us lose half our league games and be embarrassed in Europe. The players look demoralised and disorganised. I will give Beale my fullest support if someone can point out a valid and convincing reason to do so.
-
There is a third option .... that he doesn't actually have any ideas and the proposition that he was the brains behind Gerrard is a complete myth.

Sending Hagi out on loan was a ridiculous move and looks more and more like an act of petty spite by Beale. -
I wish some ‘no’ voters would explain what it is they’ve seen in Beale that justifies giving him more time.
