The first thing Bennett needs to do is assemble a selection team of (say) 2 or 3 advisors to help him, with at least one who knows how successful football clubs are run and are prepared to give him some home truths. The likes of Bisgrove should be nowhere near the process. Maybe Souness or the likes but doesn't need to have Rangers connections. Otherwise Bennett is making decisions based on garbage.

Lots of speculation around Pascal Jansen but does he have the pedigree for Rangers? Very little experience outside Holland.

No idea if Davis and Rae will be able to circle the wagons effectively, or how long they'll be expected to do it, but hearing Davis speak instead of motor mouth already feels reassuring. Good solid characters, wish them the very best.

Potter and Hasenhuttl certainly have the profile. I don't know much about Knutsen but Im wary of Bielsa and Marsch, both of whom seem a bit 'manic' and tend to create a lot of chaos around them. I prefer the calmness of the first two.
