Steady now, or you'll have us in tears or guilt and remorse. Well, maybe not. Seriously, you don't need anyone's permission to make poor decisions, however ardent, only a willingness to take responsibility for your mistakes.

While it adds up to the same outcome, I always felt the nationalists were determined to secure the traditional Irish/catholic bloc vote from Labour and pursuing the deliberate damaging of Rangers was seen as an excellent way to create a feel-good factor among their target audience. Political strategy often hinges on pandering to the lowest common denominator in society and you don't get much lower than the tribal swarm that holds the Parkhead club to its heart. There's no doubt in my mind that the SNP has quietly facilitated the ongoing campaign to damage/discredit Rangers and demoralise large parts of its support. Which is why I find it so hard to see Rangers supporters giving their vote to the SNP, particularly when its patently obvious that shower of shit doesn't have two good ideas to bang together and will never deliver independence.

Thanks ... never a problem.

Like another Pedro Caixinha maybe?
-
Sadly, that's a big "if" but I live in very fragile hope.

If you're having difficulty accepting institutional bias against Rangers by referees, try instead contemplating the same accusation against media bosses and journalists. Do you think the rabid media smearing of everything Rangers is brought about by some sort of contagious medical condition ... or by tribal hatred, the same social disorder I am convinced lies at the heart of demonstrably biased refereeing.

I haven't checked but I think they have dropped more points than us during those 5 weeks.

It takes two sides to make a deal and it's possible Aberdeen said they would clear the way for Rangers to talk to McInnes ... but only after the double header between the clubs, hoping to consolidate second place before he left. Clearly, if that was their thinking, it backfired spectacularly. We'll know soon enough.

I don't understand why so many people find it hard to believe some refs cheat and are deliberately targeting Rangers. Why would refs be immune to such behaviour when it's all around us in this country. Sure, refs can be incompetent but don't tell me much of what we see doesn't have its feet in an anti-Rangers mentality pervading football in Scotland and actively encouraged by the political engineers of nationalism and Irish republicanism. Nothing will change until someone at Rangers has the balls to come out and call a spade a spade.
-
Right now I can only see two scenarios. Either McInnes takes over the reins now or Murty is made manager until the end of the season. I'm not clairvoyant so I've no idea which would be the better option ... but for everyone's sake the decision needs to be made soon.

"It's gonna be three in a row"

Ha ha, cheers

Regardless of the red card, it does my heart good finally to see a Rangers midfielder who is so determined to win his battles. We need to make sure Ryan Jack is in no doubt he has the fans right behind him. Edit: Isn't it good to see Tav back. Excellent game again today.

I think we're in the realm of "I just don't like the guy". Maybe it's the beard. No amount of scrutiny of Aberdeen FC will reveal how McInnes will fare at Ibrox.

I know we need any good sponsorship we can get but at the risk of appearing prudish I wish we didn't have to advertise gambling.

Former Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha confirmed as new Cruz Azul manager
Bill replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I wish him all the success he didn't achieve at Rangers. An intriguing character. -
You're right. In retrospect he gave a great impersonation of someone making it up as he went.
-
He reminded me of Der Kaiser.

A lot of talk about “power” but I suspect the reality is there isn’t any. Otherwise, that power would be being exercised instead of debated.
-
Tremendous performance tonight. I think it's time we tried him up front - it looks like he can do anything he wants.

I really don't know why people take such interest in an AGM where you can guarantee nothing of importance will be revealed and where you could guess with a high degree of confidence exactly what responses will be given to any questions asked.
-
The attitude of supporters worries me. It does no one any good to have such closed minds towards people who could well be managing the team in a few weeks. If Derek McInnes does become our manager, we already have supporters who are not just unconvinced but are openly hostile towards him. What does that actually achieve?

Blah blah blah

Same era here. If someone had asked who the directors were I wouldn't have had a clue ... or cared. How its changed.

For some reason I can't think about McLeish without seeing Olivier Bernard. It's that bad.
