  1. Nope, doesn't appear for me , whether on iPhone, iPad or MacBook. Perhaps you have moderator privileges? I only get a drop down box offering two options - insert existing attachment - or - insert image from url
  2. Finally got round to trying this, only to end up more confused than ever. As far as I can see (and believe me I've looked) there is no "choose files" option in any text box. Perhaps someone can provide further help ... or confirm that posting images from anything other than url's is impossible.
  3. While the article is certainly muckraking, it might have been prudent to reserve pay rises and bonuses for the day when Rangers turns a profit or wins a trophy.
  4. I don’t really expect us to catch Celtic this season but if we did the pain it would inflict on their support would be unbearable. It would make helicopter Sunday seem trivial.
  5. Question - is it only possible to post images from a url address ... or can you post an image from, say, a photo file on your iPad?
  6. I've always admired Steven Davis but I think if we are going to be the club we want to be then we need to stop turning to ex-players and older players. Experience doesn't need to mean over thirty. One thing that has characterised Rangers these last many years has been a failure of leadership in identifying good young playing talent or effective management throughout the club. Graeme Souness was probably the last truly inspiring appointment to the manager's office. Perhaps appointing Walter was also inspired but perhaps it was a cop out that got lucky. Advocaat was only really about money and everyone else was less than uplifting.
  7. He’s a decent physical presence at the back but I’ll get excited by David Bates when he develops an ability to pass the ball. His distribution is truly woeful.
  8. Fair enough, off you go Mr Bates. Next!
  9. The tartan army will love this .....
  10. I just love stuff like this. What a club, what a pedigree, what a heritage. I've supported Rangers for well over 50 years and still learning.
  11. Spot on. Although the main quality we required wasn't just better management skills ... but leadership in specifically football operations. The old saying is that the difference between managers and leaders is that managers endeavour to do things right whereas leaders strive to do the right things. You need both of course for optimum performance but leadership should always be out in front. It seems Mark Allen has brought that to the table at last.
  12. I think what depresses me most is seeing the same old faces still haunting whatever supporter organisation evolves. They've said it all a thousand times on social media, some have had a hand on the tiller at one time and all seem to have an agenda that basically starts and ends with themselves. Albeit much less than it was, there still seems to be an element of blazers about the current incarnation. Until that changes I'll maintain the deep scepticism I've had these last few years.
  13. By the looks of it we should have had a DoF long ago.
  14. That’ll teach Lawwell to criticise the SFA
  15. Lawwell is right, the SFA is unfit for purpose. But don't let that persuade you he has anything but greater control over the SFA in mind for Celtic when he criticises the present incumbents. They may be corrupt and incompetent but Lawwell is a scheming bastard who wouldn't give sporting integrity the time of day. That dead wood suited him just fine when he effectively took over control of Scottish football. If Lawwell wants the dead wood out of Hampden then it will only be to serve his own narrow purposes and you can bet that will be to the further detriment of Rangers. Take your pick but don't think any outcome from this squabble will be good for our club.
  16. Why so? Where exactly is this “top” of which you speak and who put it there?
  17. I’m sure any anger or envy they indulge in will improve their situation immensely and raise their morale no end.
  18. Why are we now so afraid to succeed in this country that we devote most of our energies to criticising anyone who breaks ranks and achieves something? At one time we looked up to successful people and tried to emulate them, now we either seem to wallow in envy or try to justify failure. It's no way to build a prosperous society or provide the services that less able people need. Fucking socialism.
  19. Do you think someone has noticed that the inevitable rise of Rangers is getting close?
  20. This incessant campaign by the msm to curry favour by encouraging envy is intolerable but it wouldn’t be so prevalent if their readership wasn’t so keen to join in. It’s time to stop condemning success and wealth in this country.
  21. Tosh. It’s judgemental criticism from top to bottom. Unadulterated muck raking.
  22. I wish people would just stop reading that garbage. It has nothing at to offer in terms of anything other than malicious gossip, who needs it. Couldn't we just agree to have a Sun and Record free zone instead of doing their job for them and broadcasting this shite?
  23. More tedious envy-politics for the baying mob to drool over. Surely what he earns is no one’s business but his own. I just hope he doesn’t make the mistake of pandering to them by apologising or trying to justify his earnings.
