I don't think anything has been scrapped. I believe he's merely "delayed" things and I'm guessing he's just sending a don't-fuck-with-me message.

I'll be amazed (and delighted) if this transfer window achieves even half of what some fans think it will. Unless new investors appear to boost our funds, I think it will take Gerrard two or three windows to build the team he needs to compete effectively. And that assumes he spends wisely. I'm sure we can get better very quickly but I think becoming good enough will take longer with our current spending power.

Leaving aside the impact on Rangers, I feel quite sorry for Pena. Alcoholism is a lottery and chooses its victims at random. I doubt Pena has done half of what some will do without ever becoming trapped by that horrible addiction. Personally I hope he can get on top of this and find a productive career again, whether with us or elsewhere. In the meantime, i hope we treat him with respect and sympathy.

I'm struggling to see how the active distribution of this stuff by Rangers fans in any way benefits Rangers. I'm not advocating the suppression of news, just suggesting better judgement in these matters might be a good idea.
