  1. ... to high heaven. Hopefully, once the lid is lifted ...
  2. I don't think anything has been scrapped. I believe he's merely "delayed" things and I'm guessing he's just sending a don't-fuck-with-me message.
  3. I'll be amazed (and delighted) if this transfer window achieves even half of what some fans think it will. Unless new investors appear to boost our funds, I think it will take Gerrard two or three windows to build the team he needs to compete effectively. And that assumes he spends wisely. I'm sure we can get better very quickly but I think becoming good enough will take longer with our current spending power.
  4. Leaving aside the impact on Rangers, I feel quite sorry for Pena. Alcoholism is a lottery and chooses its victims at random. I doubt Pena has done half of what some will do without ever becoming trapped by that horrible addiction. Personally I hope he can get on top of this and find a productive career again, whether with us or elsewhere. In the meantime, i hope we treat him with respect and sympathy.
  5. I feel this huge wave of relief wash over me when I read that. At long, long last a Rangers chairman having the guts and gumption to question the cosy cabal.
  6. So, somewhere where the famine ISN'T over
  7. Are you saying their famine is over? ?
  8. On the contrary, that's the perfect situation. Empty seats because they can't sell the tickets = no income. Empty seats because they won't sell the tickets = lost income.
  9. Don't know what to think about Goldson. Clearly a decent player but will he be the same player he was before his heart problem? Why didn't he feature after his re-introduction at the end of last year?
  10. I'm sure I'll be afforded the same defence the next time our resident Reds or native Nats get their knickers in a twist. If only my stalker would take your advice
  11. Yup. Hook, line and sinker. I imagine he'll look at the response and decide to do more of it. I'm struggling to see how the active distribution of this stuff by Rangers fans in any way benefits Rangers. I'm not advocating the suppression of news, just suggesting better judgement in these matters might be a good idea.
  12. I understand you can do great things with a trapdoor
  13. Nope, ex Aberdeen player. That's why I put it in that room. He played a handful of games for us. Hardly worth mentioning in my opinion. "Hardly worth mentioning" What a thing to say. He played 20 times for Rangers - how much is worth a mention in your world?
  14. Don't you mean ex-Rangers midfielder Neale Cooper? Wishing him a speedy recovery.
  15. What a story! It's strange a man with Tom Vallance's amazing and unique history hasn't been honoured with a stand named after him ... or some such other recognition.
  16. And ... it’s gone. The Amazon ad menace seems to have disappeared.
  17. I believe villa are in deep financial doo-doo if they don't make it to the premier league and will have to make big cuts to player costs. One or two decent players may well become open to offers. Snodgrass, Grealish?
  18. I wonder if the Rangers board finding its courage has anything to do with recent director departures?
  19. These things are so persistent I've given up using my iPhone to access Gersnet.
  20. That season was the high water mark for me. We had many great days after that but we never again competed in Europe with such authority and style. The shocker is that was 25 years ago.
  21. Best advert I've seen in a while for giving up alcohol.
  22. Times change. People change.
  23. True enough but the spluttering indignation when you challenge their views is priceless. Never give them an open road.
