Opening a bank account isn't the issue here. They want King to put £10m+ in escrow for an indeterminate length of time, in another country, with absolutely no guarantee if and when he will be able to access what is his own property again. And we're talking £10m here, not £100. Y'know, the £10m that was just lying on the sideboard doing nothing. Their conduct in this is outrageous. If it was me I'd be digging my heels in too.

The Summer 2018 Transfer Window Rumours and Deals
Bill replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
The way he's been performing over the last six months would sap anyone's confidence. The only way out for him is to work harder and perform better but he shows little inclination to do either. My guess is that Gerrard will quickly lose patience and bin him. -
The Summer 2018 Transfer Window Rumours and Deals

It's all about opinions and I'm frequently wrong but as I see it, Morelos has been shite since Xmas and those transfer bids in January. I thought he cut a forlorn figure on Tuesday while Windass looked energised. -

Out of interest, how does a striker work on his finishing? Morelos could "finish" when he first arrived so he clearly knows what's required. Has he forgotten what to do? -
The Summer 2018 Transfer Window Rumours and Deals

There seems to be an argument emerging that excuses Morelos simply by blaming Windass. That's a dangerous path to go down. -
It's a bit of a digression but I met Adam Rooney a couple of years ago at a local charity event and found him to be a very decent bloke. He couldn't have been more helpful and generous with his time and was delightful with everyone he met. Despite his pedigree I wish him well.

You wonder if that sort of thing is having an effect on morale/confidence across the team. I'm sure some of the team are as frustrated as we are.
-
I completely agree with what you say about our new defence and take comfort from the effect Gerrard has had in that department. Perhaps he will now be able to work positive changes further forward.
-
Steel yourself, when you watch the game you'll see we had plenty chances to score but made a pig's ear of all of them. The Morelos heading masterclass is particularly instructive. ?
-
My score prediction certainly was.

What I don't get about the reaction to Tuesday's game is ... did anyone actually expect any different?

We've already got an invisible striker. ? -

Whoever she is I'd sign her today... -
I eagerly await the Herald finally sinking beneath the waves. People will lose their jobs, which is always bad news, but this paper is poison and the sooner it disappears the better.

Ex-Rangers star David Hagen diagnosed with motor neurone disease
Bill replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
So sorry to hear this awful news. I remember clearly David's first team debut at Ibrox. I hope the Rangers family will offer David Hagen the same support they have given to Fernando Ricksen. -
Steven Gerrard backs Josh Windass to respond to Ibrox jeers
Bill replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Many of those using the "Windass posted missing" mantra are simply following a comfortably familiar path. It can be hard to admit you were wrong about someone. Windass has clearly responded to Gerrard's leadership and was one of our more committed and effective players on Tuesday. I just wish we would make room for him in a more central position - it's inconceivable he wouldn't be a more effective striker than Morelos, who has contributed almost nothing since last Xmas but continues to have excuses heaped upon him. -
Hear hear. ?
-
Are there some secret special points on offer for saying that Windass was “posted missing” because he was far from our most anonymous player tonight. Also, there is no way we can go into a new league season depending on Morelos for goals. I’d drop him now and play Windass through the middle until or unless we find a better striker.
-
Superb performance1st half by Ryan Jack. Can someone remind me why Morelos is immune from criticism? Because he’s nowhere near good enough.
-
I think it would be wrong to write off Dorrans just yet. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he still has a significant role to play this season.
-
On the contrary, calling that manager a prat is almost an act of compassion.
-
Or possibly a Mexican prat
-
What I think is you should read the post before jumping to the wrong conclusion. Herrera is Mexican so it’s unlikely “Portuguese Prat” referred to him. Isn’t it? You can apologise in your own time ?
-
Hurray. One less reminder of the Portuguese prat

It would surprise me if Windass plays in Skopje. I thought no the team will have a few changes.
