So ..... for those of us not lucky enough to be going to Hampden and who don't subscribe to obscure pay-per-view channels, what are the options? I assume RTV will be prevented from showing the game?
Derek Johnstone was a wonderfully talented player both in defence and attack. It seems to me his worth is generally ignored by many supporters and he's never really been afforded the recognition he deserves.
It’s way too soon to be eulogising about Lammers. On the evidence of Dundee, he still can’t bring the ball under control, pass to a team mate, head the ball or tackle an opponent. If there’s “a player in there” then he’s keeping it well hidden so far.
On a personal level, so pleased for Lammers and Dessers but they have a lot to do to redeem themselves.
I thought Leon Balogun was immense both on the ground and in the air - I don’t think he missed a defensive header all game. But what has happened to Sima, he’s gone right off the boil.
Don’t see why Lammers would be tired. He hasn’t done anything yet. Balogun won’t let us down.
I think some of Clement’s selections will reflect his plan to reduce injuries.
The events of 2nd May 1999, together with two helicopter Sundays, left such deep scars on the Celtic psyche that they will never fully recover from. Now, the slightest sign of Rangers on the horizon sends the average bheast into a spiral panic.
Ridvan isn't the problem, asking him to cover tall forwards against high balls is the problem. Some of the best fullbacks I've seen in a Rangers shirt have been small in stature. Bobby Shearer was 5' 7". Eric Caldow was 5' 8".
