  1. I feel sorry for anyone who didn’t see Eric Caldow play because he was in a class of his own and no one since has even come close. Don’t vote for imitations, vote for Caldow. 😉😂
  2. What's the opposite of recency bias? Dementia? Anyway, I think I probably suffer from it ... "keepers were always better in my day"
  3. ..... and what a captain.
  4. I almost chose Ritchie too but decided I probably didn't actually see enough of him to make a proper decision.
  5. He did have a rather shaky start but in the scheme of things it was really quite brief and hardly impacts on his worth as a Rangers keeper.
  6. Does this confirm Club1872 will be permanently sitting outside in the cold? The victim of its own conceit.
  7. Goram wasn't just the best Rangers keeper but the best I personally saw in any team. Some of Goram's performances still trouble me greatly. He did some things that should have been impossible, most of them on a cold Tuesday evening in February at Pittodrie in 1993.
  8. So, explain yourself. Where the hell have you been? 😏
  9. And? Absolutely no mention of Tim’s. You may be getting a little paranoid in your dotage. You’re seeing things that aren’t there I’m afraid. I might be confusing you with someone else but aren’t you the fellow who arrived recently spouting tales of having been banned from another Rangers forum? I’m beginning to smell a coincidence hurtling towards us.
  10. The reason for poor player trading results is the board repeatedly appointing inadequate managers and DoFs. So you’d better hope you finally got it right this time.
  11. Having finally watched the game c/o RTV, I would love to vote for McCausland but it would sentimentally rather than merit, although he certainly did himself proud on his first start. Personally though, I thought Goldson, Lawrence and Jack were the pick of the bunch, even though there were no real standouts.
  12. A. I never once mentioned you being a Tim although you certainly behave like one. B. Stop being so pathetically needy.
  13. One useful thing Sportsound did do was broadcast for all to hear the appalling minute’s “silence” from Parkhead. Behind the grunts and howls of the assembled bheasts you could hear the BBC producers panicking. Lucky for them the minute’s silence was only allowed to continue for 20 seconds. They’ll have to work some magic to cover up this embarrassment.
  14. I enjoyed that less than any game this season. But only because I was driving and had to listen to it on BBC radio. I’d forgotten just how fucking awful Sportsound is. Hopefully it will be another 10 years before I have to endure it again.
  15. I’m intrigued, are you actually one of us or just a visitor intent on criticising everything in sight?
  16. And there was me thinking he was just a little slow to integrate 😁
  17. Go easy on him. He’s not the first to seek attention by trying to be controversial.
  18. We've seen so many times that there are no guarantees, whoever is in charge. However, it doesn't take a genius to see the clear difference between Clement and Beale. Clement might not fill the trophy cabinet but at least I'll have confidence in his efforts to do so. The first time I heard him speak about this job I was impressed by his calm self-assured realism and I felt instantly this was someone the players would respect. I'm already looking forward to this part of our journey.
  19. I don't get it. What's been the motivation for this torrent of hysterical gloom peddling? You weren't happy before the game, you wallowed in negativity during the game and you've been a pillar of misery since the final whistle blew. What do you get out of it?
  20. Livingston 0 Rangers 2 FGS - Sima
  21. It's a long time since I saw a Rangers manager in such complete control of a press conference as Philippe Clement. He's comfortable offering what he wants to say but he totally dictates the conversation. You can already see a change in the way the journalists ask questions.
  22. That's always been Lundstram's achilles heel. Except for his erratic passing he would be a hell of a player.
