i look at it the other way - the cl is the only true stage rangers can be represented at. we're that size of club. we should presuppose league victory.

I was there at the start of August, it's still a fair bit off being finished. I think there was a completion date of 2012 being bandied about.

i love the fact that they turned down all sorts of foreign investment and its being built entirely on free donated labour as a form of penance and whatnot.

i think the truth is that when something's being sung at a football match its less of a philosophical-ethics decision and more of a am-i-going-to-join-the-noise-or-not. i mean, i've sung 'no surrender' while believing that song to have no relevance to either my life or to football. and i still would sing it, without a moment's hesitation because its a good song, and its not singing about anything i think is immoral.

but i've never sang, and never would sing, bjk. i just think its stupid, and if someone asked me why i wasnt singing it thats exactly what i'd tell them.

but i dont deny other people their right to sing it, incidentally. i dont think it should be a banned song.

to be fair to fraser its good that these things are brought up and discussed.

i do think that if the offended parties do feel there is unresolved injustice then they should pursue it - and those horrified by what they've found about the case should support it. but it being continued by rangers supporters nowhere else than in a football match and on stupid banners is just pointless, self-congratulating, self-indulgence.

yeah. using someone else's misery to make your rivals look bad is pathetic. like when politicians use a death (jamie bulger's death, say) to advance their own careers (to prime ministerial success ala mr. blair).

That's an average of 2nd top seed where the expectation value is 4.5.
