The only thing that stops me from going as far as dropping him etc is that it will feel like giving in to pressure from the press; which is the only thing worse than bad behaviour as we've been arsed about so royally over self serving media outrage the last few years.

The idea that people shouldn't be held to account for doing something wrong because they might not like it seems dubious. There's no way he should be scapegoated, but he must know he's done something wrong (the way he got back up straight away suggested that) so he can't real become unsettled at being reprimanded.

Totally agree. Enthusiasm was a bit exuberant in the aftermath of the game. We'll need to see it over a period, but nonetheless that wee feeling of anticipation when someone gets the ball was great

to be excited when someone picks up the ball? :robbo: for all our many virtues in the past few seasons, flair hasn't been one. i remember just getting that amazing feeling of ancitipation when gazza or laudrup picked up the ball and starts going forward. obviously the wee dude's not in their class, but it's just a a great feeling to have that wee bit of excited anticipation when someone picks up the ball. gaz is probably best positioned to answer, but is it still illegal to kidnap people and not allow them to go back to their own clubs? realise it's a bit much after just 25 minutes, but we've all been craving a wee bit of flair and it's good to have someone at least with the potential to do something unusual. :spl:

barcelona didn't pump us. we're better as underdogs - i think we've as much chance of qualifying from a group with better teams, bizarrely. even then, i just want to see real madrid at ibrox.

totally agree with walter. the bigger teams the better. it's good for the club and would be just amazing to see them at ibrox. if you're not expected to progress, the pressure's all off, and would just be amazing.

i'm happy about this. he's done it against good opposition and he's young. he's exactly the kind of signing we should be looking to make. because he's a striker, if he does it in the CL he'll be worth a fair bit.
