i'm glad, i think some of the criticism of this team has bordered on absurd. i've seen potential in this side, its certainly not all been doom and gloom.
-
i think i must be the only one who thinks ks will come good.
-
I've not had any texts regarding downtime, so I'll keep a close eye.
-
thats a staggering amount of money, i wonder how it is justified.
-
this i a whole-heartedly agree with (as you know).
-
also, the idea that plg is playing tried and tested internationals is a joke - steven smith, bardsley/hutton, svensson, clement, martin, burke and adam, all form a central part of our first team where they have never before. all youngsters, all getting played.
-
cammy, it seems to me you can't harp on about using young and under experienced players against plg, and not be considered a short termist. it seems to me you can't be against tinkering with a team at the beginning of a manager's tenure, and not be a short termist. a case of having your cake and eating it, i think, as stupid as that saying is.

ah, so now we've changed from "he wont change it" to "he will change it, but far too late"?
-
I'm not sure why you doubt it. If its not working, he'll change it. He changed it on Sunday with 15 minutes to go, changing to a 4-4-2.
-
cammy, criticising the new manager after 4 weeks because some sections of the support done it to eck is as silly as muslims starting a fit of violence in disgust at the pope saying their religion was violent.
-
as a rangers fan, only a win will ever do.
-
agreed. but i think this is part of cammy's plan to show that the criticism of eck was, itself, unreasonable.
-
i think he got it wrong, to some extent, though you have to put some blame at the players' door. you would expect almost any gers side to beat a middle of the road team from over there.

OK lads, even if its felt that something unfair has happened, having a go at each other isn't going to help. In future, if anyone has any problem with the moderating of the forum, simply PM Frankie or Stuart and I assure you that the problem will be addressed. I'm going to close (though not delete) this thread, as there is nothing more that can be productively said. To re-iterate, please, if you have a problem with each other, or any of the moderators, please take it to PM. There's no clique and everyone will be treated fairly. Thanks, Barry

i think i'll need to get into a debate with my mrs tonight just so that i can be set straight twice on the one evening.
-
i think you're brain just works quicker than the rest. it usually takes me a week of moping and moaning to get to this level of rational.
-
playing with no out and out strikers? i dun think so.
-
i must admit to hoping they get completely destroyed. i've not felt the same about all celtic teams, but gordon strachan's bitterness and conspiratorial mindset is really bringing me down and making me dislike them more than i ought to.
-
scotsport is so embarressing.
-
my main point is that all we can really do is hope we get a nice rich benefactor. i just wish we, "the people" had more control.
-
how do you know? is this just wishful thinking? i think the fact that we cant do anything more than hope is a poor reflection on us as a support. come on the rst.
-
you being serious man? i'm not sure hwat in murray's track record would indicate that he's going to give it to someone with the club at heart. he has recently actively took extra control of the club to oust the one organisation, the RST, who have the club's interest at heart, i think.
-
i was reading an article in FF that was discussing how "we are the people" is meaningless, since, us "the people" have to wish wistfully for our next custodian to be benevolent and look after the club. i think we ourselves blew it when we have the chance to buy shares. so, do you think that whoever takes over from murray will have the best interests at heart? if so, is this based on anything more than blind faith?
