  1. Obviously around the centre is the best balance.

i think the problem with centripal politics is that its so boring. to me its just a different kind of oppression, that of monotony. there's no marches, no revolutions. people don't believe in anything. it has a numbing inevitability about it.

for me while the worst is always found at the extremes, so to is the best.

  2. Thats the thing I never understood Barry, how can far left be in the frame for equality if they still want to control everything.

well, they say that if everyone pays 100% tax, and get all they need to live from the government, then everyone is equal. everyone does their job for the benefit of everyone in society (doctors get "paid" the same as cleaners, ie: nothing), but get food/clothes etc from the government.

  3. What's communism got to do with this? Are communistst left wing?

communism is far left, fascism is far right. both are controlling philosophies, the far left in the name of "equality" for the people (everyone pays 100% tax, and get all they need from the government), and the far right in terms of dictatorships, usually highly nationalistic (ie: the nazi's).

both deny individual liberty, but generally "in the name of" opposing things.

  4. i dont like stone island gear, generally, either. like gaz, it just reminds me of hooliganism. despite knowing that plenty of people wear it who are not hooligans, it just isn't for me.

in saying that, i'm not sure what kind of clothes i like, its been that long since i bought any. i'm virtually in rags. i just spent all my money on books again :|

  5. That is not the problem tho - plenty people buy and read this paper (non-Rangers fans) and may now believe that the bouncy (an innocent chant / reason to jump up and down in the wet / cold - that is why it originated) is now linked to a sectarian murder. Hence, our public image falls even FURTHER.

These continued lies regarding our songs must be challanged.

ihmo, anyone who believes trustingly the opinions of some random person who writes in deserves their ignorance.

  6. People are saying Svensson is pish , Yet backing up le guen , " For the reason he has not settled in "

    Hasn't svensson setlled then?

i agree, both svensson and plg should be given more time.

  7. i think all this talk of poor tactics etc is simply misplaced. when i looked at the game today i saw a team of largely accomplished players (in key positions), against a team of largely unaccomplished players. no amount of tactics can change that.

the truth is that even if our younger players will one day be better than the seasoned pro's that celtic have (and i think they will), its going to take time.

    my assessment

mcgregor - did fine, wasn't at fault for either goal

hutton - unaccomplished, poor distribution, but good energy

    smith - see hutton

papac - altogether decent game, didnt look out of place

rodriguez - decent in patches, just not very commanding

ferguson - absolute drifter, needs matches, but was entirely absent

adam - rash, unaccomplished, will be a good player in time, but not the finished article

hemdani - quietly effective, but not commanding

burke - again, largely uninvolved, poor final product

prso - our best player as usual, a seasoned grafter

boyd - does nothing outside the box, unlucky not to score

remember, celtic had two clear cut chances and scored them, we had two clear cut chances and hit the bar and was cleared off the line.

    we just need time, imho.

Rangers FC midfielder J©r©my Cl©ment will play no part in the decisive UEFA Cup first-round second leg against Molde FK after injuring his knee on Scottish Premier League duty on Sunday.

    'Bad injury'

The 22-year-old summer signing from Olympique Lyonnais sustained a blow to his knee during the 2-1 loss at Hibernian FC and was immediately ruled out of today's Scottish League Cup trip to Dunfermline Athletic FC. Following further medical tests, it has emerged that Cl©ment will also sit out Saturday's derby at Celtic FC as well as the visit of Molde a week tomorrow. Coach Paul Le Guen said: "I hope he will be out for less than a month but it's a bad injury and he will be unavailable at least until after the next international break." The first leg in Norway finished goalless.

This means Ferguson/Hemdani midfield. Which is unfortunate, i think.

  9. Nope your not. That was my whole point.

Think he just needs a bit more time to settle in.Pluss i really don't think he did that bad on Sunday tbh

i'm glad, i think some of the criticism of this team has bordered on absurd. i've seen potential in this side, its certainly not all been doom and gloom.
