When I posted this thread, it had happened again.
What it is if I click to go into a forum or post a reply it doesnt do anything...I can still click but it just doesnt go anywhere...
it doesnt freeze altogether just wont bloody budge and then I have to click off altogether as Ive said and then sign in again, sometimes taking upto 5 mins to get back on. I hope this makes sense to you, but its only this site it seems to happen with...
it makes sense, but i'm really not sure what the problem is to be honest. its puzzling. if there were lots of people having the same issue it would be easier to investigate. the general trend is:
loads of people having same problem = a problem for me to deal with
individuals having a problem = problem at their end that i can do nothing for
but i'm not convinced in this case because other sites are working ok for you. my only problem is i'm not sure how to analyse it further without actually being there when it happens.
i'll have a look into it more fully this afternoon and see if people on other boards of the same type elsewhere are having the same problems. sorry about the hassle.

Its happened quite alot, hence the reason I asked cause if my computer this is the only site that it does it with...
I find I have to click off altogether and sign in again...
it does seem quite strange. what do you mean by "the whole board freezes"? is it just gersnet, or your whole computer? does it crash your browser, or just not load?
occasionally there are small problems with the server that last a minute or so, and everything returns to normal. could this be it?
i'll have a look into it this morning. the next time it happens can you make a note of the time so that i can check the logs?
thanks.

Scheme members will decide.
Might be used to build a museum; youth development or player pool. However, David Murray will not decide where it goes.
what about buying shares? that kind of money could really raise the RST's overall say.
0 -
It has the potential to raise up to £5.6million if subscribed fully. SO far the response has been very good.
what will be done with the money?

what exactly are you "backing" him to do? he's came out with a load of nice platitudes and resolved absolutely nothing. nothings changed from thursday night other than he's decided to grace us with his presence. we're still the worst rangers team since the 80s, we're still slowly but steadily selling off all our assets, we're still paying the same amount on season ticket money to have nothing invested in the team.
so i'm at a loss. you're backing murray to do what exactly? it sure as hell isn't turn things around, because according to him there isn't a problem. so you're "backing" murray to maintain the same dire status quo. good for you, its exactly the same as do nothing at all - its hardly "backing" in the slightest.
its like saying "i'm backing that statue not to move" - utterly pointless.
but i'll say this -- those of you who have no complaints for murray had better not even begin to complain about the team on here.

They are never Rangers fans, they are Sewer Dwellers masquerading as Rangers fans.
That paper/Rag and it's ''Sportsbag'' have zero credibillity as no one can do any background checks on who calls in.
It's a Sewer dwellers playground,no more,no less.
I would'nt use it as shytepaper.
you wont get anyone who hates tabloids more than me, man, and i feel guilty for even having looked at it - but in these desperate times i think we tend to just feed our depression by subjecting ourself to reading their guff just to make ourselves feel worse.
i think thats what i'm doing anyway.

some of the comments sent in to the record are just so embarrassing:
"it's time to ask Dick Advocaat to return to Ibrox."
"If Murray will sack Le Guen I'll drive up from England and chauffeur him to the airport to make sure he leaves the country"
"Rangers are so bad they can't even get their games shown on television."
"Murray had better sell Rangers quickly if that's what's on his mind because Le Guen's taking the value of the club down on a daily basis"
"Demos outside the ground are wrong."

unfortunately all true, and put in a very dignified manner.
that being said, i wish he hadnt spoke to the record.

Murray working the back of PLG and Vice-Versa,followed by the usual bull and tripe about how we should be sticking together/Family/In this together...Yadda-Yadda-Yadda.
ah right, aye. get you now. agreed.

As for Watty, that dog has had its day, and theres no way Id accept knox back at Ibrox we wre injury prone enough without his intervention
aye, i always thought he was responsible for the amount of injuries at the time.

Ive never heard of him doing this in the past, wonder what thats all about.
i'm an optimist, but it may be in response to stephen smith's comment about how odd it is for the manager, who barely speaks english, to be left to fend for himself.

Will be a case of ''Who's working who'' in my opinion.
what do you mean?

i hope plg doesn't quit. i'm not sure why i'm giving him so much support, but i think it'll just be another excuse for murray to stall further - another "give the new manager time" to placate us further untill he finds a buyer.

oh i wish, man, i wish.

I was at the Gladbach Dortmund game last season. The Gladbach fans unfurled a banner just before kick questioning how the club was being run, it ran almost the length of their end. They then stayed silent as the team was introduced and for the first five minutes of the game, the banner was cut from the fence and as it fell they went mental.
Organised, dignified and as a tool of getting attention it worked.
However the only thing we could organise is a mass hand sitting exercise or a campaign of apathy
sad but true.

I can see some sense in that but, i just couldnt bring myself to give him the satisfaction of stopping me from going to the Rangers games and watching the team i love.
I dont go to the games to support Murray, i go to support the team and just now i think they need all the support they can get.
you're probably right m8. in some senses its a catch-22. if you go to the games murray continues to assume that everything the vinyard is profitable (i mean, everything in the garden is rosy), but if you dont then you run the risk of being labeled a part time supporter.

Exactly, i have allready paid the mint for my season ticket, i wouldnt imagine he will bother his arse if Ibrox is half full, he allready has all the season ticket money for the season.
I will be there this Saturday.
i know what you mean, but a half empty stadium, as a symbol of disdain, is powerful. the media will go to town on it, and it will have to be addressed.
are there better ways? probably, but even just as a symbol its powerful (albeit tragic).

mmmm I thought thats what the team were doing:sigh:
i dunno man, rangers just break my heart - and no matter how talentless they are they will never be as horrible at their job as that pseudo-literati moron.

no, i think he's just saying we should support murray because its the thing that will piss us off the most right now.
garrulous pish.

aye, dont waste yer money.

lads, was thinking of making and handing out bingo cards with all dm's bullshit on it, garnered from the site. feel free to add:
Manager needs time
Real supporters dont protest
We will spend what we have
Paiteince new manager
We're lucky to have him
I have Rangers interests at heart
We're in this together
The Rangers Family
Can't win every game
there's going to be a massive injection of money that will shock
For every fiver.....
manager will get significant funds
Rangers must live within their budget.
Do the fans want to go back to owing £60,70,80 million
Money has went into youth development and we're seeing the fruits already.
hey never complained when I delivered 9-in-a-row
investment to shock football to its foundations

MURRAY MUST SPEAK - TRUST
The Rangers Supporters´ Trust have called for David Murray to break his silence over the crisis engulfing the club.
The Ibrox chairman has so far kept his counsel as their season plunges headlong into disaster. A disastrous start to Paul Le Guen´s reign leaves Rangers trailing Celtic by 15 points in the league, and the CIS Insurance Cup exit at the hands of St Johnstone proved to be the final straw for some angry fans who gathered outside Ibrox calling for the heads of both the manager and chairman.
RST spokesman Stephen Smith said: "The supporters are looking for leadership and someone to take responsibility. It´s puzzling that a manager, whose second language is English, has been left to fend for himself. David Murray has so far been reluctant to step in but he has to be seen alongside his manager. The current state of affairs cannot continue."
----
Must say, I like Stephen Smith. A point well made, i think.

I usually get torn right into folks for getting on the anti BF bandwagon, but appreciate you arent doing that and have asked a sensible question. Normally I would just disagree, but the Motherwell game (1st game of the season) was the best I have seen and he wasnt playing. It might have been new team, new season etc etc, but they did well without him.
That said, BF was man of the match against Haifi by a country mile so its quite a hard one to say with any conviction.
On balance, keep BF playing every week imho
i fully agree.
