"seduction of their souls". quite a poetic lunatic, it has to be said.

To say that these guys aren't Rangers supporters is unfair, some not all, some are massive Rangers supporters, others as a previous poster said are there to fee there own interests. I ask all of you who say they aren't real supporters, How many of you sing of taking the stretford end and what happened down at Aston Villa?
As for the book I thought it was very poor, the facts in it were false,i.e 33 people died in the Ibrox disaster, Rangers and Celtic were formed in the 1880's?
interesting point (welcome aboard by the way) - i think the idea of what makes a real supporter differs from person to person.

mike - i agree with you in that i find his fall from grace dumbfounding.

Fair enough Barry - but what does Rangers, or the team they are "representing", have to do with their battle ?
I agree consenting adults should be allowed to beat the shit out of each other - but keep football out of it as it is nothing to do with their motives.
i dunno - a football team is arbitrary, aye, but so is your country/political party/religion when you really think about it.

for my money, consenting grown up people should be able to kick the shit out of each other if they want (boxing anyone?).

no thank you
Del.
i dont have as harsh an opinion of him, but wouldn't want to pay anything significant for him.

Gordy, give Walters previous stay at Ibrox, I'd say the last thing he was gonny do was lay the 'foundations' for ANYTHING.
Expect more and more players reaching the end of their careers arriving at Ibrox.
Very, very few kids will get their chance and we'd be as well shutting Auchenhowie down.
have to say i agree. if he'd still been our manager bf would probably have never kicked a ball in earnest.
i dunno - i've went from gloom -> happy -> gloom on this appointment.

is anyone else concerned about how our recent treatment of plg (and alex mcleish for that matter) is affecting our reputation? why are all the youngsters plg brought in jumping ship saying they are being ousted?
n'guessan
stanger
clement
have all made comments about the treatment of non-scottish players, which, i think, shows how sharp this divide was. i'm not convinced we are utterly tarnished as a club over this affair.

Are the old web addresses defunct then?
should be back up soon.

looks like we're set to batter the spl into submission again. and nothing more.
i'm not happy about all thats came out in recent times, and i'm not convinced walter's the man to take us further forward than domestic success.
but i suppose thats all we can expect now.

"There will have to be more money made available to Walter. I have resources.
"What I don't want to do is put the club in the situation it was in before where we are running up a huge overdraft and financing losses.
"But it's obvious we need to spend a bit more money."
When asked if he would use his own cash to buy players, Murray said: "Wait and see."
wait and see indeed...

Thanks pete, apologies to all for throwing my toys out the pram but opinions whether right or wrong are valid. Did find it funny that one poster could argue that it was biased and also say he doesnt watch it!!!
actually i said it wasn't biased, then said i didn't watch it.

Boruc made four or five good saves, and the one from Novo was nothing short of world-class. He is nowhere near Goram, but he's a class above McGregor. At least Gordon catches crosses, I cringe whenever McGregor comes for a cross to flap at it.
nonsense on almost everycount. the novo save was certainly good, but nowhere near worldclass. novo couldn't hit a ball hard enough to produce a worldclass save. mcgregor is certainly not miles outwith boruc's class - he seems, at worst, simply less experienced. mcgregor's been not bad at crosses either - thats the first thing we've lost from a goalkeeping error at a cross - choosing to punch is not hte same as flapping.
