Personally I think his English is fine and he has a strong accent, those aren't his problems. His problems are getting this team together and keeping control. Murray has to make a big decision now, does he let Ferguson go and keep with Le Guen or does he keep Ferguson and axe Le Guen? Wouldn't be surprised to see them both stay or go to be honest.

We only know that this isn't a snap decision, it's something Le Guen held off doing until the transfer window. Obviously things are going to be happening.

I don't believe that. If the players aren't producing then there is only one man responsible for putting them on the park, the manager. How he can drop practically our only player that is putting in consistently good displays but keep other dross in the side is beyond me.

Care to enlighten those of us who aren't allowed to read the hallowed forum? Le Guen seems to be losing it really, Ricksen, Bardsley, Ferguson - who's next? We don't need someone to be booting talent out the club, we need someone who can control the talent. It'll be a real kick in the teeth if the best Scottish player in years gets frozen out of our club.

All of a sudden I've lost faith in Le Guens ability. I wanted to give him the year but if this is the sort of stories we can expect then this guy needs to get out. If he can't keep the dressing room in order and there are serious problems like this then he can't handle matters as far as I'm concerned. Not to mention his continuous backing of Sebo and continuous slagging of Boyd. Give me strength.

I think he's scored 117 SPL goals so far in his career. I guess it's taken from the start of the SPL which was what, ten or twelve years ago now?

All these years we've been crying out for a penalty box striker to put the ball in the net and when we finally have one (the most prolific Scottish striker in years to say the least!) we aren't happy. Christ, if only we had Boyd when Advocaat was here, we would be running fucking rings around teams.

Has he not scored 11 or 12 this season when he has only started about half the games? Top quality if you ask me.

Personally I think it's a good idea. They are all good young players, just because they come from other SPL teams doesn't make them automatically shit. Every player has to come from somewhere and not every decent player will be picked up by large teams from a young age. Anyway, where else are we going to be getting our players from?

I posted that in the wrong thread, but anyhow, you get the jist.

Would people here rather a Romanov figure in charge? Or the fans to be in charge? How exactly will it work without Murray? We spent about 4 million already this season, we captured possibly the most exciting young manager around, we aren't in the CL so that curtails spending and the JJB money is to be spread over 10 years. If Rangers don't have money how can we spend it? Everyone was complaining when we were 70-80million in debt but now people are wanting to get us back into debt. Doesn't make sense to me.

I think we have to give him the season, there isn't much else we can do. We happened to sign one of the most sought after young managers in recent times and this is a learning experience for him. The difficulty is that if Le Guen can't turn this around, who can? I believe part of the problem was not bringing him in earlier, if McLeish had been sacked earlier then Le Guen would have had a far better understanding of what needed solving over the summer break. Things are pretty awful just now but I think we've got to just sit tight and keep backing Le Guen.
