Well I got told of f for calling Jones and Edmundson muppets for what they did. But they aren’t Rangers players now and they weren’t first team picks at the time, and they haven’t been seen since. So, yeah I think the point is that players need to keep their heads screwed on otherwise they aren’t going to stay in this team. I feel like Morelos is given leeway because he is a ticket to financial income this summer despite lacklustre performances. However, I doubt he’ll be seen much if at all for the rest of the season now. To be clear, I love Morelos when he’s fighting for the ball, using his strength and holding off defenders - picking up cards in those situations is inevitable and not really a problem for me. Stamping on players and kicking out isn’t acceptable though, particularly when it can mean an easy red card and us dropping points.

Personally I think the club will be doing something in the background about the seeming bias in targeting rangers players actions. I doubt we'll hear much about it until after we've clinched the league simply because the title is far more important to us now. We don't need any distractions t derail us, we don't want Gerrard to be fielding questions about statements and wars with the SFA or SPFL.

Dunno why I need to keep saying this but it seems to need repeating, I hope he does well for us and I'll be delighted if he does. Now I'll take your opinions on board, it doesn't change how I feel about him right now, but I believe everyone has the capacity to change and I'm open to him starting to try his arse again and quit with the stupid moments, but if he doesn't then someone else will lead our line. I think he's probably not going to play too much again this season now.

I prefer to have some objective analysis of our players than simply backing them because they play for us. Like I said before, I hope he does well for us but it doesn't change the fact that I think he's problematic and not particularly bright.

Off the top of my head he was suspended for the semi final against Aberdeen which we had to play Sadiq instead. That's not really the point though, he's always getting hooked because he's on the edge of being sent off and he's always got something stupid in his locker. It's just needless, I'd far rather we had a striker that got even by scoring goals than by stamping.

My feeling is that Morelos is somewhat of a liability and on the evidence of this season hasn't really bothered to give his all. You can insinuate whatever you want, I'm just saying what I think. He's been given every chance by Rangers but Gerrard must be absolutely sick of having to deal with him. Every other Rangers player has their head screwed on this season and are quietly going about doing a terrific job. Like I say, had Morelos been shown the red card he deserved and we dropped points then I doubt many would be backing him.

No, and I'm a Rangers fan but that doesn't mean I have to like or back every action by a Rangers player. Perhaps realise that other Rangers fans hold different opinions than your own and that doesns't mean you have to react like a wee boy bringing out the " Honestly are you sure you're one of us (I have my doubts)".

If you're replying to me then I hope you realise that I am saying our club has suffered more than other with retrospective action. That is a given. I'm also saying Morelos is a moron who has not copped on after all these years. If he had been sent off for his ridiculous stamp and we drew or lost that game then there is no way people would be backing him so much. He's always an accident waiting to happen. Having the opinion that Rangers are treated harshly and that Morelos is a moron are not mutually exclusive.

He is a moron. I hope he does well for us but just because he's a rangers player doesn't mean he isn't a moron. You can't just back everything a player does because he wears blue. He's constantly putting us into situations we don't need to be in, if he had got sent off as he should have been, then that could have had serious implications for us, I can't back him up for that.

Morelos blantantly stamped on someone, it's not a witch-hunt against him, he instigated that. I don't see how Gerrard can defend him any more. Morelos must have a brain the size of a walnut, he's actually a moron. I'm almost happy to see him off for a while to give Itten a chance, I think he may be a better player at this point in time. I feel like Morelos has been given so much time as a way to build his value for potential sale in the summer, but I think his value is still plummeting. I'm over him, I hope he does well for us but he doesn't help himself and again has done something stupid that puts a spanner in the works during a significant time. Something worthy of concentrating on is the number of offences we seem to get picked up on for retrospective action, but the time for that would be after the season is finished. We don't need to revert to statements and noise at this period, it won't change anything other than put a black cloud over the club during the run in. No distractions, let's win this and then air our grievances in the summer.

What he said was disgraceful and he shouldn’t be allowed back on to their channel (invite to sport scene coming up!). However, we really don’t need to get sucked into this stuff right now as a club. We are doing brilliantly by keeping the limelight off our players and keeping the club out of the headlines, I’m sure it’s aided our effort this season. Morelos is a fecking idiot, just can’t help himself, Irvine is a Neanderthal that shouldn’t be given space to air his views.
