Apparently Everton offered 5m for Patterson. It made me think,it would actually be really good if a club made a good offer for Tav this transfer window. Patterson looks ready and Tav will only have financial worth for a limited amount of time, as much as I love the guy.

Was lovely to see that 1st half and a great result. Bassey had a great game. Lundstrum showed up. The only player that didn’t pass the muster for me was Simpson who played a really shoddy pass to Goldson that let Dunfermline break on us.

I wouldn't say that one physical deficiency means he should be dropped. We had Weir playing for us for seasons and if he broke into a sprint his knees would turn to dust and his ankles would disintegrate. Managers never dropped Cannavaro because the opposition was too big either. Surely if you're a defender that can read the game then that is what matters?
