Oh aye, must have not refreshed before posting

The feeling of the fans will be integral to Beale's longevity as a Rangers manager, as Gio found out.
-
It's only viewable for subscribers. I agree, it's a bit daft to gate the first interview with the manager.
-
Good luck to him, hope he gets the very best out of the players.

I'm warming up to the idea of Beale coming in, at least we know he has some decent tactical chops, the man management is unknown but honestly I think Gerrard burned himself a few times in the first couple of years by being too tough on the players, so this could be better. At the end of the day it seems like this will be a transition phase with a likely large overhaul in the summer so the next 6 months will be key to see what we have in reserves to bolster our team.

I feel weirdly flat about it. There was a lot of shite football played under Gerrard but we did progress. But this feels like the easy choice, I guess like Gio was. It feels like a step backwards somehow, but if he gets the job then I hope for the best. No doubt he has coaching talent.

I find it hard to believe it's a coincidence that Beale was just up for a laugh the other day and then Gio is sacked soon afterward. Not sure how I feel if he gets appointed, in some ways it's a backwards step and it's certainly a gamble as he hasn't really been tested as a manager yet.
-
I feel bad for Gio, no doubt he led us to one of the best times I've experienced at the club. However, he had to go. Here's looking forward to a quality appointment.
-
I can't believe they will still have him in place for the AGM, it'll be a bloodbath.

I feel bad, Gio is a lovely guy, but watching him here is awful. But it's just not good enough. He looks and sounds defeated. -

I think that would be the last straw, even for this board. Is that 8 points from the last 15? the only thing that I think may save him till the end of the season is that the board accept 2nd place. I don't think there is a danger of losing that. -

Best thing I've seen from Kent in ages and met by a heroic save. -

No conflict there, the conflict is between me celebrating a goal and wanting us to push for the win but at the back of my mind I have the sinking feeling that it will prolong Gio's stay -

I am so conflicted here, the thought of Gio doing just enough for us to trundle along for another 6 months makes me sick to the stomach to be honest. -

I think Walker is a bit harsh on King there, it's hard to blooter the ball when you are a yard away and facing your own goal. Still though, St Mirrens crosses have been shocking all game, big fucking balloons. And we still conceded to that shite. -
Honestly, I don't actually think the Rangers job is all that attractive. Extremely limited budget, if you don't win the league you fail. It's a really tough job and I think it can ruin a managers rep quite easily, of course it can build it too.

Like it or not, if Gio can't get the players playing for him then he has to go. What's the point in keeping a manger if he can't motivate the team? He has to go. -
