I didn't think we looked great defensively to be honest, only Sparta's poor finishing and a few great saves got us that draw. But too often they just walked through our midfield and defence.

Why? He was asked a question and gave a very detailed response. Yet, some are simply picking up on one part o his reply.
Graeme Souness will be a great addition to our club if he and the board can come to an agreement on what his role will be.
I don't care how detailed a response is if it's wrong.0 -

Why? He explained why he thought Lampard was ideal for us and also praised Clement.
He's entitled to an opinion
Sure, he's entitled to his opinion, and if that's it he can keep his opinion to himself!

Given he was apparently backing Lampard I think I can leave his consultancy expertise behind.

Once again “we have a manager”. We would not have improved in 2nd half with Beale and probably lost the game.
Im just going to say that isn't necessarily true. Our result against Betis was only a few weeks ago and he changed things there. Whilst we can't say Beale was a good manager, it would also be remiss to be so definitive about a fictitious scenario.2 -
Much better 2nd half, but still, the transfer window can't come soon enough. At least Danilo looks like he might have something. But a point was all we deserved.
Not sure why Lammers and Dessers got so long, can Cantwell not manage a full game yet?

The ref has been really poor. Really poor.

Dessers and Lammers are absolutely shite. This is nearly as bad as the Cyprus game. Thank feck for Butland. Sima and Cantwell have at least added some creativity and positivity but for most of the game we've been on the ropes and just been horribly reactive.

What's wrong with Ally? Love him.

Question about RangersTV, does the €6 a month version for UK and Ireland include highlights packages? The information on the website is appalling, it gives no info at all on what's included.

Is that the same as saying you think he should still be Rangers’ manager.
No, I agree with the time that the board sacked him.1 -
I didn’t think it was right to sack someone 4 games into the season, I don’t think it’s a good reflection of our club either.

I voted Clement but I might as well have voted for Patrick Swayze for the amount I really know about them. I just can't quite get past that very poor period Muscat had in Belgium.

I'd happily swap the manager's brogues for the league championship trophy. I don't care if the manager goes barefoot and wears his budgie smugglers on the touchline as long as he brings success to the club.
That is sickening to hear.
I thought you were a Rangers man.

A lot of noise about it being Clement but I’ve just seen he wears trainers with his suit and that is not on. I sincerely hope someone hands him some brown brogues before he is offered the job. We need to get the right fit for our football club.

Not convinced this is an appropriate time to throw in Lovelace, particularly when we may have a new manger round the corner. But with that said, I hope he does well and gives the new manager something to consider.

It's a tough one.
I'd argue that Muscat's loyalty to his current club is a positive trait. And there are great value signings to be had in the Asian market, so his knowledge in that area could be a real positive.
What do we do for the next few months though? There's too much at stake for us to have a rookie caretaker manager over that period.
Someone on the Heart and Hand podcast made a very good point about hiring Muscat, a lot of the Japanese players contracts are up in December and Muscat would potentially have great knowledge and pull for the players that would be worth signing on a free. It's possible that it could swing the appointment in his direction as it's clear we badly need to fresh players even after the summer investment.

I think Glasner may have a better CV if he is an option. He looks like he’s had a relatively more restricted budget in better leagues and achieved success, albeit without winning a league.

If the answer to that is no then the solution is get someone in who can get rid of the duds and work within budget to bring in players who want to be here and can bring success.
Find an experienced manager who is a proven winner and that can work with a limited budget. I don’t envy the board’s job, but essentially that is what we require to get out of this mess. Either that or we need to get lucky again like we did with Gerrard.2 -

Yes, happy to have him working at the club. But if it's consulting and that's his advice then it isn't worth it.
