THE man who opened the scoring for Progres Niederkorn faces a ‘doping’ hearing in September – sparking rumours Rangers could be reinstated to the Europa League. Emmanuel Francoise, 30, failed a drugs test in May while on the books at Fola Esch. Just two weeks ago Niederkorn said in a statement the midfielder used anti-asthma substance Terbutaline – banned by WADA – after suffering an attack before a game. The Luxembourg club added: “He won’t dispute the findings of the test. “But we will compile a dossier to prove that he did not in any way take this substance to enhance performance. “Instead he took it for a medical emergency, and without knowing it was banned. “He is eligible to play for us until his case has been judged.”
