We should be flying up the divisions but i don't see it all being easy. But between div 3 and 2 it's basically a bunch of part timers, as long as we approach games with a good attitude we'll be fine. Looking forward to the journey.

Agree with Cumbernauld,don't pay the debts. Feel sorry for Rapid Vienna but all Scottish clubs...fuck them. They are snagging us out of the Spl for being a newco but may well expect us to still pay the oldco's debts. Can't have it both ways. Don't pay them a penny.

When we sell we must get what we want for the players. We screwed up again on Jelavic. I said,along with a few others that we should have held out for 10mil,8mil minimum. Now he's killing it in the Epl and the toffees could punt him for 15 if they wanted.

The point i am making is that LB isn't his natural spot and whilst he is far from an Izzigurie he has improved going forward. Ask any centre back come left or right back and they will tell you its a far different way of defending as well as trying to attack.

Ability aside(good player) he was in his time with us Mr consistent. For a player to be with a club for 6 years and be as consistent as he has been is a fucking good achievement by any standards. I'd much prefer a player to be consistent over 6 years than for a player to be great say 3 out of the 6 years and not so great the other 3. Deserves a good send off in his farewell at Ibrox today. Think i will make my mind up when he addresses us directly with detailed plans on how we will go forward. My concerns is the running costs of the club without Euro football and how we will be able to compete over the next few years. I'd like to know exactly how much he is willing to invest overall to cover everything from running costs,transfers and the CVA pot. He's going to need a shit load of cash to do this from what i understand.

Biased opinion from Pele IMO. Messi has been killing it for Barca for years. Barca all time top scorer and he's 24,scary. People say 'yeh but he's got Xavi an iniesta' which is fair enough. But look at how Barca struggle when u take Messi out. Neymar,scored a heap of goals in his young career. Actually saw him in the copa America against equador,he had an off day... There's no way on this planet u can compare the 2. Messi all the way. Seem to remember Pele raving about Diego and Robinho and while both are good players,they are nowhere near anyones worlds best 11,I highly doubt Neymar would be for that matter. Look forward to seeing him in Europe though.

Messi for me,I like Ronaldo but I think the little man has more in the locker. IMO Ronaldo hasn't done a great deal at international level. Same goes for Messi,seen glimpses of it from both. The game these days is tougher,more games and come an international tournament they are running on empty. Messi also has a 36hr round trip to south America for qualifiers... Both have been so consistent but its Messi all the way for me.

Singapore for me. Even though we don't know the true extent of any of the plans, providing Glasgow Ranges lives on,it could be a great way to tap into resources out there. Football just isn't taking off in the states,it's like the 4th or 5th sport. Singapore and Asia love the game. Would be a great oppertunity to flood the market with the RFC brand.
