  1. Nowhere in that piece does it quote him as saying they vow to do better at Ibrox next time. In fact nice words from the Elgin boss.
  2. What a cool idea. Prize money is a lot though. No pressure on the winner to re-invest eh?;-)
  3. These things can vary in time. Depends what country you are dealing with as they may take longer to process than others. BTW,what about the Argentine boy? That just went real quiet or did I miss what happened?
  4. With all the talk with Templeton it got me thinking about the man Cooper himself. Although i never met him i miss the guy. Fantastic player and from what it seemed, a gentleman as well. I remember his death quite clearly and although he was just at the end of his Rangers career when i started following Gers, i've watched plenty of videos and was very sad when he passed at such a young age. So just wondered what everyone's memories of Coops were... For me, goal Durrant scored at Ibrox against the Mhanks when 'Super' danced through the Cel*** players before laying it to Durrant to score. Cooper then waited for Durrant to come to him to celebrate but he went and ran past Coops. Cooper did the hi 5 with fresh air anyway...Gold. Of course the free kick against the Sheep in the league cup final that almost ripped the net clean off the goal. He truly was a legend. Super Cooper will never be forgotten.
  5. Seen something on twitter about Michael Owen being linked. Surely no chance we could afford his wages...
  6. Never really rated Gomes TBH. But willing to be proved wrong...
  7. Being an Argentine youth international up to the age of I think 18 is impressive. Suggests he has got something about him. Boca are known for promoting youth so maybe he just doesn't feel he's going to get in under the current coach there. But someone who I'm told is fast, skilful and has a big future sounds like a real find to me. If signed I think massive credit to the scouting team for throwing the net out so far and plucking a reserve player out. Could be the flair we are after.
  8. Quality pair of gutties,I'm looking for a pair just like them.
  9. Had some feedback on the argentine and the aussie boys. The Boca lad has been involved with the reserves. He's meant to be quick and is tipped to have a big future. The Aussie lad is apparently a goal scoring midfielder and had he still been in Australia he would now be an A league player. So sounds like there's a couple of good players there. Hope they are good enough to win deals with us.
  10. Fuck the SPHell haha.
  11. Bring it on. A great early test for the new look side. McKay is a sure starter due to both injuries and his form. Wouldn't surprise me to see big Jig be perhaps dropped a little deeper and Kyle be brought in to partner Sandanza. Think Ally may go for 3 at tue back and try and take it to the Bairns. Could be a cracker of a cup tie. I'll be up nixlce and early in OZ time to watch it. WATP
  12. Been in touch with my Boca friend to find out more on Celeste and also trying to find out more about the Australian from my mates over here. The Australian played 2 leagues above me for South Melbourne, maybe if I knuckle down I may be in with a chance of a trial;-)
  13. Penny arcade for me. The way it was sung before the 3-2 v cel*** was incredible.
  14. What's Billy Davis doing these days? If we were to move from from Ally then he'd get my vote.
  15. Mainly my family. All my dad's side are Cel*** fans but my mums side all Gers. My Grandad used to tell me about games from the 60's and he was in Barcelona in 72. I first Saw Rangers play on the T.v against Cel*** in August 1988 when we had the memorable 5-1 win. From then on,without knowing anything about the OF or how big Rangers were, i said 'This is my team'. My first Rangers game was that very same season against Motherwell at Ibrox. Think we won 2-1:yesrfc:
  16. Exactly mate, I live in Australia and i'd have to order from the UK to get a Rangers Jersey. That annoys me very much.
  17. After a shaky start the ship is now being steered in the right direction. I'd like the numbers of ST's sold to be made public to us as it wasn't so long ago that jobs could be at stake depending on sales. Also would like to see the business plan and how our wage structure is with regards to our intakes(no names needed just numbers). Apart from that I'm pretty pleased but with a watchful eye. CG seems to be enjoying getting his teeth into the rebuilding job and if he leaves us in a good state as per his intentions before a pass over to another owner/group then fair play. He's backed Ally and the fans in recent weeks and I think has been trying to be as accommodating as possible. Still early days but I'm happy enough so far.
  18. Corruption at it's finest,if there us such a thing. I suppose it would have been too much to have the SPL hire investigators that have no connection with Scotland or a Scottish club?? They are dying to shaft us.
  19. Great signing and think he will do really well for us. Hope Beattie signs too and mention of Sebo, would love to see him back.
  20. For me a move from Ibrox is totally out of the question. Where would we go?? We'd be charged the earth for a mortgage elsewhere. I can't imagine us playing our home games anywhere else. For me there's a few things we can do to help bring cost down. Try to get a sponsor for the stadium, it'll always be Ibrox to us. And how about fans groups organizing maintenance of the stadium?? If it need a fresh lick of paint then the fans can do it. Theres ways we can contribute to the everyday running costs of the stadium without the club having to fork out for it.
  21. Just confirms how corrupt these feckers are.
  22. Does anyone know about the SPL/SFA rules as regards to EBT's? What i'm saying is that if we are guilty of it then of course it's a thing for HMRC to pursue but is it punishable as according to the laws of the SPL/SFA??
  23. It's an interesting article however on the whole i think or would hope we are above going down such a route. It's digging up old stuff going back decades and would smack of pure desperation should we play this card.
  24. I like the idea but with regards to the money Copenhagen 'missed out on', there's no way the SPL/SFA would take responsibility of them missing out on those monies. In fact they'd probably try and make us pay.
  25. Not had much interest when Pearce was named coach. Should have been Walter...Then when i saw there was not 1 Scottish or NI player in the squad it just confirmed what i thought Pearce would do. Tw@t of a bloke so i hope he fails more than anything else.
