I know he's young but certainly in the future id like Stevie Smith to have it. He's got a great attitude, is a Rangers boy and looks sure to be a top player for us. For now short term id give it to big Dado untill we can find a man fitting of the job long term.

I heard it'll be souness till the end of the season with Davis coming in later. What a sorry state our football club is in. I really fear for us in the near future.

Ok,look at derbies around the world and then look at the players that have crossed over. Forget the micky mouse derbies im talking about Roma/Lazio,Boca/River,Inter/AC,Barca/Real,Gala/Fenerbache and of course the OF. With the speculation of Elvis maybe going to them it made me think that this is starting to become a trend of the modern day footballer. And i dont like it. Now we all know Judas Miller jumped to Torbett Towers ( not that i give a shit about him ) but if Elvis also went then for me it would be taking the piss just a bit too much. He came through our ranks and learnt his trade and professionalism from Goughie and others. I presume he's a Rangers boy but im not sure. Ok we sold him but we also gave him his start and full backing and this is something he shouldnt forget. Now you could argue that Mo Jo did exactly the same to them to come to us but i've never said that was right. Yes it was great cause it was 2 fingers up at them but now the shoe is firmly on the other foot. I could maybe understand it if it was Jonny foreigner but these guys ar SCOTTISH and have grown up Knowing the traditions of each club. What im trying to say is that very few players these days are loyal or have any hint of it. They are loyal to themselves and they're bank balance. At the end of the day i dont care about Miller and i dont care too much if Elvis signs for them but id welcome him to Ibrox. I'm thinking of the future, imagine the outrage if one of our young hotpropertys left us for them? Christ just recently the gutter press were linking Burkey with a move to that scum in the east end. WTF? Sure of course its the press stiring things but surely these stories shouldnt even be thinkable? Nelson Vivas was a Boca player for many a year and he eventually signed for River where he retired after just a month because of the abuse and death threats. A similar thing happend recently when a player left Galatasaray to go directly to Fenerbache. No suprise he didnt last long and he'd left club and country saying he couldnt handle the abuse. And of course we all know what happend to MJ. The great divide is the great divide for a reason, you shouldnt cross because it's just too dangerous. And if you do cross then prepare for the wrath of the fans you've just screwed. Think about it Elvis, is it really worth it??? People this ones an interesting debate so lets hear it.

I was hoping we got a wee team in the early round. Sick of the site of dunfermline we always seem to draw them.

FFS, these Rhetard ratings are always anti-Gers. I mind a few years back when we humped DUTD in the cup 7-1, Stevie Thomp came on as a sub and scored 2 and they still gave a him a rating of 5 outta 10. Says it all really.

LOL, great result for our boys, anybody seen any of this Rory Loy kid? Seems like he's bang on form right now.

Clement Brands Rangers "Stepping Stone To Bigger Things"
bluedan replied to Beattie's topic in Rangers Chat
I dont see any problem with his comments. He said the league was pish and didnt mention anything about a 'Bigger club'. Where do some of our fans get off expecting a foreign player to be ultra loyal to us? He didn't grow up dreaming of wearing our shirt. I respect his honesty, as long as he doesnt do a Boumsong on us and see's out his deal then thats good enough to me. -
Must admit i said a few weeks ago the big man was finished, his legs are gone but he's using his brain more rather than his legs. I'm glad he's proved me wrong cause it dont happen that often:thup:

Hmmm interesting. How did Lowing look? He suddenly burst onto the scene under Eck but's fallen right off the radar. Agreed that the players mentioned should be made to play to improve form and sharpness, perhaps PLG is concerned about injurys as the squad is blatantly weak as it is?
-
PLG has been very naive. He hasn't signed a comanding defender and he released the only defender we had that actually attacks the ball ( big Marv ). We dont have a centre back thats gona defend well and score us 5/6 goals a season, like i hate to say it, Mcmanass does for them. We dont kilee games off and we have no balls to close games out. Someone in the team has to stand up and take some fucking responsibilty and pull everyone together. PLG has to start learning and learn very fast, i dont give 2 shits about what he did at Lyon. It means fuck all now and he has to start showing why he got his reputation. Murray has to take a look at himslef as well and hopfully relise that PLG will need cash to buy quality defenders in the next window. This season is already over in the league so we have to look at europe and the cups and make sure we get 2nd spot.
-
Fucking joke. No passion,no power,no height,no bollocks,no consistancy and thats just for starters. Nobody in Scotland is scared of us anymore, we are just a piss poor side with IMO a naive manager. I can't believe how crap we are at defending set pieces but in all truth we should have buried the game long before they scored. Prso is not up to it anymore and should be dropped, buffel again did fuck all and Novo has no composure. It hurts watching us we just look so un-inspired.

Yep, this is a problem that needs to be adressed by the league. Ref's need to be punished for making or not making what seems to be to everyone else easy decisions. The problem we have is that these decisions are affecting our results. People will say ' You can't always blame the refs ' but getting 3,4 or 5 bad decisions against you in games can not only affect results but confidence. Players go out worrying about the ref's performance instead of their own. Thats my worry. You can blame refs of course, but not forever.

UEFA draw: Auxerre/RANGERS/Partisan/Livorno/Maccabi Haifa
bluedan replied to steve's topic in Rangers Chat
Might be a strange thing but these games could help Svenson settle in a bit better. Papic will be out so im guessing he'll play. the european game isn't as fast as the SPL as we all know so hopfully he'll get it together. -
It's right that PLG doesnt let the fans pressure him into a decision however it would be terrible man management from PLG to drop Mcgregor when Letizi comes back. No player should be guranteed a place in the side and it sends out a bad message to the rest of the squad. I've nothing against Letizi but Mcgregor is young and will only get better. He's our new number 1.

I saw the incident twice, and it looked to me the the defender possibly caught Nakas toe. Whatever there was near enough no contact, the ref got conned and wasn't strong enough not to award it.
-
Yeh looked like a dive to me, first Larson then Petrov and now Nakamura. It's the Celtic way.

We seem to get stuck with the Namouchies of this world

The key area on the pitch will be the midfield. Baz and Hemdami are very important and cannot allow Grav and Lemmon to bully them. Lee Martin needs to defend alot better too and if Adam had a bit more match practice then id give him the nod. Boydy has to play, He'll get us a goal or two and i think Timmy will be scared of him. Prso with him up top. If Svenson plays it could be a major mistake. The atmosphere could unsettle him and it would be too risky to play him. Papic in there and hopfully he'll play like Soti did in his OF debut, like a rock. 4-4-2 as we need to be much more solid all over the park. Mcgregor Hutton Jrod Papic Smith Burkey Hemdami Fergie Martin Boydy Prso

Don't like it, to me it looks too much like a training top. Nope not for me.:admin:

Dont think we can go this season without loosing. It's been well documented that 7 of our starting 11 against Hearts were 22YO, with young players comes inconsistancy. But one things for sure, i can't see us going to the scumdome and being barely able to muster an attack as what happend under Mcleash. P.S., i still think we'll win the title finishing 10pts or more ahead of our nearest rivals. I thought it before the season kicked off and i can still see it happening. You heard it here first.
-
HAHAHA, what a joke. This will be a story condured up by the Timmy Mhedia just to try and cause unrest in our camp. They're scared of us people. Boydy is a major part of the puzzle. Is this crappy story the best they can come up with? Like i said, they're scared of what PLG is building.

I see the panic button has been pressed by many...
bluedan replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm not worried although i was of course disapointed with the last 2 results. Some team is gona get a hammering from us and then i think that'll kick start the season. Hopfully this happens against Hearts. We must be patient, if we arn't then that'll filter into the players heads and we'll get nowhere fast. Rome wasn't built in a day. I still believe we will win the title. It didn't take certain fans long to forget the ' Keep believing ' did it? -
Great signing for us, my land lords a MU fan and has told me very good things about him. He's highly rated by Fergie, can play on either wing but is naturally left sided. He was also at Belgian side Royal Antwerp ( who you calling a twerp? last season where he was voted player of the year.. Enjoy him whiles he's here guys cause me thinks he's gona be big.
