Have we lost a game? No. I'm not very concerned. It's not easy to get out of the traps away from home. Don't forget we are the hunted now, not the hunters. Life is going to get more and more difficult. I always remember Souness saying it was hard to win a championship but even harder to retain it which is so true. It's early early days yet. We still have a few players to come back and others to hit top form. At the end of the day, we've plaed on the orad last 3 games and although we haven't won any of them, we havent lost either.

Thats the good thing about Bougy, he's not the type of player to sit back and hang around. He'll take responsibility and have a go. Thank god he did:spl:

Hey all, whats the deal with CL tickets these days? I'm coming back to the UK in December and would love more than anything to go the the Sevilla match but can you buy single tickets instead of the 3 match package? If someone comes across a spare theres a few pints in it for you. Cheers.:fish:

Met Jim on a goalkeeping course a few years ago, must say he didn't leave a lasting impression on me but there you go. It was sad for me to read Mcgee's comments about the multitasking. A GK coach is very important. Hard times ahead for them, what a shame:giruy:

Naismith looks very sharp, hopfully he can stay injury free and go onto a good season.

Season review DVD is total pish. I'm so annoyed at Rangers for this. It cost me 40 quid to buy and ship it over to Australia and it was the biggest waste of money. Straight from the off when i heard Dougie ' Mrs Doubtfire ' Donnelly narrating i had a bad feeling. They didn't show every goal from the season, they would show some of the goals in the shitty slow motion instead of just showing it in normal match veiw, there was no mention of the sale of Cuellar or the early euro exit. I know this is a negative on the season but it's still to be included in the 'Reveiw'. Unlike the first to 50 dvd which i thought was excellent, there was also no interveiw with WS or any1 else, just stuff pulled from Setanta so all the work was already done for the bods at Rangers. Very very lazy effort and i'm so angry and fell robbed and cheated by the whole thing. As a fan abroad i fell let down by the club. I Rarely see games and rely on the dvds to show me what i've been missing. Think i'm gona email Rangers to complain. F**^*** disgrace.

McCorrmack is another who's gone on to good things. How's Stephan Mclean doing these days? Last i heard he was banging them in. I think the point Gazza is trying to make is that it's frustrating to let our youngsters go and they go on to have pretty good careers without really getting a fair crack at the whip with us. Now if this is so often the case and they've been coached by us for lets say 5 yrs, hen thats bad management and investment by us.

Rangers v The Mopes ââ?¬â?? Match Report And Players Ratings
bluedan replied to CammyF's topic in Rangers Chat
When we lost against ICT i came on here questioning the balls of our squad. I truly believed we didn't have the mentality to go on and win the title. I'm s pleased i was wrong. That was a classic performance by us although not vintage. It was alot more open that some of the recent OF games but stil lacking a lot of quality but i thought it was a really good game, you couldn't help but be glued to that screen. Davis was fantastic, when he cleared of the line i knew it was our day. Thats a moment that you look back on when u win a title. Edu? First time i'd seen him play. That boy has power when he drives forward, still improving and he could be some player. Miller and the big Algerian we also awsome as was Alexander. Being a keeper i always pay special attention but in that envioroment he looked cool as and i wasn't closing my eyes when they were punting it into our box cause i knew he'd get there. Can't say that for Mcshagger. To sum up, well 3 games, 3 very hard games to go. We are the hunted now, different pressure but we're so close to the finish. We need the same attitude and number 52 is ours. No surrender:rfc: -
Famous phrase in sport. 'Bottle'. After tonight's result i'm more sure we don't have the stones to win the league. For the first time since november we finally get our noses in front only to royally fuck it up once again. Now i didn't see the game tonight but the result speaks for itself. 2 things really worry me here, well actually 3. We don't appear to have the backbone to win the league even when we are in the driving seat, we have hit a batch patch of form at a crucial time and Timmy are winning again and scoring. Seems to me that we get a nose bleed whenever we reach the 'dizzy heights'. Losing to bottom of the league for the 2nd time this season ( St mirren ) is beyond a complete fucking joke. It's not too late to salvage the league of course but i just don't trust the mentality of these players and they aren't proving me wrong either. WATP

Great chance missed. I thought the way we started out was understandable, it was a very tight affair. But 2nd half we had by far the better openings and chances. My fear along with every1 else is that not taking a win could jump up and bite us on the arse. BTW,when was the last time we won twice in the league at the BJK camp? Thinking about it more and more and how plain Craptic are, it winds me up more that we didn't have the bollox to go for it. WS has got to stop being ultra-cautious, we install that aggressive attitude and i bet we'll win this, and it won't be so tight. Cammy, great point about games at Ibrox, we have to pin teams back from the first whistle. We seem to be more worried about how to break teams down because they just sit in. Fuck that, get at them from the get go and force mistakes and then take advantage. Control it our way.

Glad this was brought up. Being a goalkeeper myself as well as a keeper coach this is a important subject. Mcgregor needs to be dropped. Forget his off the field antics but he simply hasnt reached his level of form from last season. He's not even consistant which is so vital. Mistakes are coming all too much and they're all basic mistakes linked to 1 area. High balls. Bravery is a big thing for a keeper, you can be brave and go into a challenge at a strikers feet no problem but it takes a different type of bravery to come off your line and have the confidence to attack the ball and go through whatever's in your way. I'm sure it's being worked on by Jim Stewart but i think it's best for him to have a bit of time on the bench just so he can solely get rectify this area in his game. For me the rest of his game is very high standard. Great shot stopper, great agility, reactions and he's good on the deck. A spell on the bench will do him no harm at all.

I was digusted by that 'performance'. Mcgregor, as great a shot stopper as he is,won't come to attack anything and i'd drop him. He's nowhere near his form of last season. Our defending from ball's into our box makes me shudder, thats 3 goals i can think of where we've been weak at balls into the back post. Also look as the way teams defend against us in the same situation, they alsways pick up the 2nd ball where as we're too busy sleeping or ball watching when we should be finding space to attack. Fergie, well that was awfull,i know he's been out for ages but he appeared to have no influence on his teamates. We sadly lacked a bit of bollocks. Adam is just plain lazy and offered nothing, Laferty, out of posistion but badly lackin in quality and final ball was awfull. The list goes on and on. I can't believe WS brought on Burke when i reckon Arron would have been a better choice. Burkey, again lacking match practice had a great chance to drive into goal with only 1 man to beat but as he aint sharpe instead he put in a pish cross. These are things that WS should've known. That game for me was the one i was expecting the team to stand up and show they really want this league, they proved to me the don't have the stomach or maybe we just don't have the quality? Either way,i'm sick.

Ok maybe 'Joke' is a bit harsh but if we're trying to get the 'Atmosphere' back that every1 talks about so much on here then they have to step up a bit. They need more people with drums and what have you. The thing that annoys me most is that they should be playing something/anything for the duration of the game, even if its just the drummer banging away ( as an actress said to a bishop). Been to quite a few Melbourne games this season, they pull an average attendance of 25 to 30,000 and they have a small band of 'hardcore fans' about 2 or 3000. I've been in that section and they 2,i say again 2 guys banging on drums. They have 1 guy that directs them and they rest of that section and they go for the full 90 and it's a cracking atmosphere in there. And this is from fans of a country where football is way down the pecking order.

Love the banners of TBO but can any1 tell me if that band is actually part of TBO? They're a joke IMO

maybe it is too late for this campagne but for the actual future of the national team i think serious thinking has to go into it. Burley has a prick about him attitude. He's taken us backwards and maybe even lost half of the dressing room. Big game players like Mcfadden aren't happy and thats going to cause confidence in the mangers to drop in the other players. It's like Spurs, Ramos has confused the squad with bad selection and tactics. He's a gonner. Reminds you of a certain PLG.

1-0 to Boca Great result,if they had lost the coach would surely have jumped before he was pushed. After a goaless 1st half Boca had Ibarra sent off on the 50th but took the lead on 60mins through Viatri with a gorgeous looping header after Riquelme's freekick. Made my monday that did. Gana la Boca

Yep i agrre and it's something i feel strongly about. Ok freedom of choice and all that but in this matter, players having the choice of who to play for...what ever happened to giving something back to the nation that nurtured and coached you? Don't care what any1 on here says but i hope the wee fanny gets abuse at every ground he visits. It obviously says something about his family background i.e who he supports. You all know thats true. I have a problem with his and Mgeadys actual situation because they would strongly have a future with Scotland. But you look at nationlised Brasilians playing for Qatar, fair enough on them cause they know they aren't ever going to be good enough for Brasil.

Burley is a total sack. All the good work Walter and Eck did has now gone down the tubes. Mcfadden aint the same and he's brought in players i've never heard of. Watching that game in a Melbourne bar i couldn't believe for 1 he took off Mc faddenator and put on Whats his face? Boydy,on yoursel son, Burley your a disgrace, the way you conduct your buisness is terrible and it won't be long before more follow. Watch this space...

The Super Classico of the Appertura is this sunday at El Monumental (River). Should be an interesting game. Going into the game both teams are in a shocking run of form when you consider the stature of the clubs. After 9 games River have won just once drawn 5 and lost 3. Boca have been in poor domestic form, Despite beating the winners of the Copa Libratadores in the copa Suda America they have lost their last 3 league games 2 of which were at La Bombonera. Boca won the last Derby at la bombonera when Sebastian Battaglia's header sealed a 1-0 win but River eventually won the league(fuckers). Form goes out the window for these games and here's hopin the Blue and yellow pull off a win. If any1 is interested heres the link for the site that'll show it http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/ Vamos Boca

The Melbourne victory v Queensland match at the Telstra dome. Queensland won 2-0. Charlie Miller and Craig moore are playing for Queens and Muscat for Melbourne. Thats my 3rd time going to see Mel. Standard is pretty poor but thumbs up for the atmosphere, theyre keen i'll give them that. At half time Miller was walking up the tunnel and i gave him a wee shout. 'Mon the Gers Charlie boy'. Got a wee fist and smile of appreciation from him

yeh just watched that game,he played well, won alot of headers and was a pain in the 'Arse'. Was a good goal too, similar to his header against the mhanks. -
Obviously need more seating for the size of our squad. Wonder if theyre as good as the ones they have at real madrid? They have t.v monitors on the back of the seats. Doubt it though:admin:
