  1. I'm pretty sure he would have cause that wee twat Loovern would have shat himself against Jelavic. Gutted. However Lafferty has looked great in the last few games, maybe just maybe the big man has turned the corner??
  2. What about Gypsy boy Skatchel's celebration? When i saw that i thought 'wow he's really enjoying that one'. By this token im sure this so called Journo could say that was provokative?
  3. I'm with Gribz, we should be aiming now for qualification. But i'm not getting too excited, we've been in far better posisitons and still come un-stuck. Next 3 games are huge but why not? We are Rangers.
  4. Skacel is a gypsy boy, good player though.
  5. Great news and well deserved for Kenny. I was one of the many that was against him signing for us. But although im not happy with the circumstances, im now of course glad he is with us and playing the best football of his career.
  6. Great goal, all overhead kicks are special but with this one it was more about quick smart thinking. Lads, we could have a player here:robbo:
  7. Yet to see the lad, but it's refreshing to see one of the young boys come through. At least we can be pretty sure, like Alexander, he'll play in all the league cup games so a good chance for him.
  8. I hear exactly what your saying Gribz, maybe 2008 is still fresh on my mind when we had to go away to Fiorentina with the ****s inbetween and of course they were catch up games. But i kinda disagree with you. Fair enough it's better to have a home game in terms of prep but there's nothing better than a good hard away win to get the confidence up. At home, lets face it, there's a pretty good chance we WON'T get beat so you could argue this ISN'T best prep. So having away games pre a CL game, winning, and then going into the CL game on a relative high, then i think that would suit a team better. And of course, if we lose the euro game isn't it always better to play your next domestic match at home? Look, the point is the inconsistancy of the SPL, It's clear in the fixtures that there is none.
  9. Crawled out from under his rock then???
  10. Tell you what they have to do, is have a bit of consideration to us. We're the countries only representatives in europe and apart from the past Man u game, every other follow up to our CL games this season we are away from home. As follows:Buraspor (h) followed by Hearts (a) Valencia (h) followed by Sellik (a) Valencia (a) followed by St Midden (a) Man U (h) followed by Dunpee Utd (a) Buraspor (a) followed by ICT (a) Hmmmmm, plain for all to see, you could argue that 3 of those SPL venues are our toughest, shit just switch the ICT game and have us play the sheep while your at it.:box:
  11. Don't know what sort of contract this lad will be on but i think i'd rather see us put that money forward to getting King Kenny a new contract rather than take a punt on some lad we've never heard of.
  12. You'd like to hope so wouldnt you mate? But this strip is just an example, i think its bogging. It looks like something a chick working at a Rangers bar would be wearing. The main colour has nothing to do with Rangers and why the red trim instead of blue? Perhaps for things such as the 3rd strip they should poll it on the website with a few choices? At least let the fans fell involved on a certain level.
  13. Nice. Except the problem with such an item is the validity of it. Is there a pic of Gazza signing the boot for example? I have a framed Rangers shirt that was worn by Neil McCann during a game back in 2002 and is signed by the whole squad. This was the last time we won a treble. Took it to a sports memriobilia dude and he said that as i have no proof of the team signing it then i was never going to be guaranteed of getting top dollar for it. I see proceeds are going to a good cause so best of luck.
  14. The sad thing though mate is that we accept it. Be nice to see if the fans could have a little more input. Certainly better quality garments isn't hard to ask?
  15. I like this lad, hope he does well just not against us.
  16. Think its rotten, just looks like a t-shirt with 'Tennents' and our crest on it. Very poor and lazy effort IMO.
  17. Here we go again, will they ever learn??
  18. Sign him up
  19. Spot on.
  20. The whole process is a joke when you think about it. How can you NOT give aq professional footballer a permit to work? They earn thousands and you can bet a chunk of that will be getting taxed...why would the government shoot themselves in the foot when they let in,no disrespect, but little old indian ladies who are going to be cleaning toilets at Glasgow airport? I play 2 divisions below the Victorian premier league over here in OZ, it's more or less the league down from the A-league but the clubs class themselves as professional. They get players over all the time on professional contracts and trust me, none of them are anywhere near being good enough to be the kit man for their national sides...
  21. Weiss's touch when he took the return from Davies was pure quality. It's things like that that can change a game and what we've all been craving to see the last few years. I've no doubts the boy can produce it regulary.
  22. P.S looking at that u tube vid, he seems to drift a lot rather than JUST being on the wing. Is Walter thinking of giving a free role ala Laudrup???
  23. Fcuk me gently you dont want this guy? How is he NOT a winger? I think this is a great piece of buisness by us. Finally we have someone who will excite us again, a proper flair player and with the big Cro on the end of the chances i'm feeling a lot more positive about this season. 24. Thats the way forward for us :robbo:
  25. true mate, maybe its time to start the petition again to try and get a standing area in the stadium for people wanting to generate a good atmosphere?
