I'm going. Very rarely miss a Scotland game, even if we will get horsed. Good chance to see some decent football though. I agree with the Vogts comparison. Burley is proving to be an arse.

Naysmith has done well the last couple of games. Can't understand why Riordan isn't in the squad. Looking forward to watching Argentina, but Burley is leaving me less than inspired.

91 caps!!!! Reckon he'll do a decent job for them, but I think Fletcher will be there come the end of the season. Whether big Mixu will be is another matter!

Arsenal need a Viera type player and also a Tony Adams type at the back. Almunia isn't that good either. Have been surprised with Liverpool. I know it's still early days, but I thought they would have faltered by now.

Redknapp came out and said that there were few he wanted to sell but they were in teh 'comfort zone' and wouldn't shift, even though they weren't going to be in the team, whereas Pedro was gonna be playing but was willing to try somewhere new. Delighted we got him, he's been fantastic so far and here's hoping he gets even better.

The big gamble is Van Persie's fitness. Like the post says, if he can stay fit, he'll get goals. If they lose him, they are kinda snookered.

It's on Setanta. Not that you're missing anything! We've been very poor, sluggish and pedestrian. Macedonia don't actually look very good, but Brown, Caldwell and McManus have been awful. Robson looked good, McFadden and Miller have had no service at all, Fletcher might not be playing, I'm not sure and the full-backs have been pegged back nearly the whole half. Maloney for Brown at the start of the second half hopefully.

Team is as I suggested, but we've yet to see whether it'll be a 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1 or even a 4-4-1-1. Wish the game would just get started!! Seems like ages since we've had a meaningful Scotland game.

It is a poor squad, but can't think of too many that are missing who would start - Ferguson and Hutton probably and that's it. I think Fletcher should have been in the squad, he did very well for the under-21's the other night. I think Macedonia will control the game and we'll have to look to be strong at the back and hit them on the counter attack - the problem being, there isn't a huge amount of pace.
