Can't wait for them to start the 'the board should never have appointed an inexperienced manager' routine. From the morons who were pleading with the board to appoint him.
-
Isn't that going to be the case anyway? I'm sure I heard mention of that last year, that this was the last year the champions got straight into the group stage.
-
That was his last competitive match for anyone.
-
I have a feeling we're not gonna be doing a whole lot of laughing this season, so let's make the most of this :-D

Don't think Hemdani has played since he left us. Shame cos it wasn't that long since he was our player of the year.
-
He maybe feels he'll get more games at Newcastle.
-
He was fucking awful!! I would rather get Maktar N'Diaye back!!

Hearts 1 - 2 Rangers: Player Ratings and MoM Poll
juffery replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Definately. -
The fact that it's Man City that are interested pushes his price up. Everton know what money they have and know that they'll get well over what he's worth. Fair play to them.
-
I think it's an automatic one game ban. If it's deemed violent conduct it can be increased. Stupid bloody tackle to make though.
-
I don't think Levein would come, especially not with the situation as it is. I think he's waiting for the Premiership, or a big Championship side, to come knocking and I don't think it'll be long.
-
If only the missus would try that once in a while!
-
It's his consistency that has impressed me. Not sure exactly how long he's been at Killie but despite never having any money, they never really seem to have seriously struggled. He seems to be a bit old school and I think that could work quite well. Seems to have an eye for a player - Dindeleux, Vareilles, Adam, Rousset. I think a better bet than an untried ex-player.
-
Jefferies would probably be my choice. I backed him for the Scotland job before Bawbag Burley got it. He's maybe not glamorous, but I think he would do a decent enough job.
-
Could you imagine him and Weir at centre half!
-
Hopefully tell him to stick it. The quicker Burley goes, the better.
-
It's a nonsense, surely he could have figured out he didn't rate him before spending a million quid on him. He managed to score SPL goals for Hearts and I'm still sure he could do the same for us.
-
Well, he's never going to get a chance, so hopefully we'll get a little bit of cash and save on wages.

Rangers put £7.5million price tag on keeper McGregor
juffery replied to johnnyk's topic in Rangers Chat
Well at least, if that's the asking price, there's no chance of him moving in the window. Craig, I said exactly the same about Alexander the other day - no reason for him to have been dropped and I think the way that happened was a very bad message to send out to the squad - basically, no matter how well you do, if you're not one of Walters favourites, there isn't any chance of regular games.- 15 replies

Regardless of whther, in our eyes, he makes a balls-up of the rest of the season, does anyone think Murray has the gumption to give him the bullet. I don't think so.

Having seen the trailers for the telly programme, it looks quite distasteful to me, a case of exploitation and kicking a man when he's down. I could be wrong, but I won't be watching it.

Players like Charlie Adam are limited and always will be. There isn't much he can do about the amount of natural talent he has (or hasn't) got. He doesn't pick himself, the manager picks him and you can hardly expect him to turn around and say 'actually, I'm a but pish, you would probably be better with someone else'. But he did show, especially in his first season, when he had an extended run in the team that he did have something to offer. You look at our positions where we struggle - left midfield in particular - and it's Adam one week, McCulloch the next, then Beasley, then Novo, then Lafferty then back to the start again! These guys have all done a job, despite their limited abilities at fairly decent levels, but the manager needs to pick one, say to him you're my first pick, you've got a month/six weeks to prove yourself, on you go son. He did it with Boyd and, Saturday apart, it's worked and Boyd is playing the best football of his career. Because the manager has had faith, given him a run and he's been able to build an understanding with the players around him, especially Kenny Miller. Yet there are other players who get chance after chance. McGregor has been rotten this season. He was deservedly dropped, Alexander did nothing wrong then McGregor was back in team. As far as I can see, McGregor has done nothing since then to justify his reinstatement as Alexander did nothing to merit his removal. Barry Ferguson could turn up, have a nightmare and still be guaranteed a game the next week. And that is just unbelievable. I stand by my opinion that he has done nothing since returning from England to make me think he should be in the team. Possibly if the responsibility of the captaincy was taken away, he would be allowed to concentrate more on his game and he could get back to the player we all know he can be rather than this generations Paul McStay. I've kinda lost track on what this thread was about. Something to do with Adam talking to the media, saying he wanted to stay - well if he had said the opposite, he would be getting slated for trying to engineer a move and destabilise the club so I guess the guy just can't win.
-
I think he was injured for at least part of his loan. Really hope he does get fit, because he is a good player. Davie Weir really has come to the end of his time I think.
