  1. It won't take long :-)
  2. Only really interesting if there are new signings to watch and there really aren't any.
  3. Definitely not, he's been outstanding the last year.
  4. If he can stay fit and play every week, preferably through the middle, Naismith will do well and get goals for us. He needs the confidence of his manager to give him the run to get his consistency.
  5. Svennson came from Sweden. It was Sionko, Papac and Seboooooooo we got from Austria
  6. I would rather keep Webster. Goodwillie is a decent player, but we just can't afford to lose any more players.
  7. Arteta has signed a new 5 year deal, hopefully put them off Davis. http://m.guardian.co.uk/?id=102202&story=http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/07/everton-mikel-arteta-new-contract
  8. If Reading had Tom Hateley, they would be about 4-0 up ;-)
  9. FF is what it is. I've looked in on occasion, but the attitudes don't agree with me. I hope Boyd and Thompson both do well, but I hope it's not at Boro. I cannot stand Strachan, he's an arrogant wee twat and that's nowt to do with him having managed the tims. For some reason I've never liked Boro.
  10. Cracking signing if it happens, but I'm really not getting too excited. One minute it's random Hondurans next it's Gudjohnson. Ok then
  11. New Olympiakos boss became the old Olympiakos boss very quickly! http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/06082010/58/international-football-coach-sacked-games.html
  12. Who else has been knocked out?
  13. Last time you tried being open minded you complained you couldn't sit down for a week!!
  14. At least one will be, I'm pretty sure. Thinking of opening a book on which one:fish:
  15. Man City are a law unto themselves.
  16. I had high hopes for Velicka when he signed. Never know, he may bang in 35 this season
  17. The friendlies were in place before the Carling Cup dates were chosen.
  18. Shagger. Miss a friendly in Sweden. With his reputation. Are you mad???
  19. I would walk past most of them on the street without a clue who they were. It's actually looking a bit like our squad at the end of mcleish's time, a very bloated squad and he may struggle to settle on a team.
  20. Surely that should read hog-tie??
  21. I think all Andy was trying to say is that you can't judge him on three sub appearances. Rooney didn't play well at the World Cup, but we know he's not a bad player. Welcome likewise - he may have been off form or carrying a niggle. Equally, he may be pish.
  22. Ah, wondered what Dyer's problem had been.
  23. Showcase my talent in the champions league. Stay for season then get a move elsewhere!! Would do well for that season I think.
  24. You also have the risk of getting someone to fit in with the team. I don't see the point of selling him to get someone else in. Hopefully we'll be bedding in a few new faces anyway but there's no need to get another just for the sake of it. For every Cuellar, there's a Boli.
  25. So to complete the circle, do we get Vermaelen :-)) It's all very well wanting rid of Bougherra, but with Wilson away, we are then incredibly light in central defence.
