I prefer the Judean Peoples Front.

There has been a bit of controversy about teams who have nothing to play for fielding weaker sides at the end of the season against teams fighting relegation. Not sure of any actual laws against it, I think Fulham did it prior to their Europa Cup final. Means certain strugglers are playing against full-strength opponents, whilst others are playing against kids.

I see what you're saying, but I'm with Hindy. Too many soft fouls like this given, it's supposed to be a game for big boys!
-
Little? Yeah, forgot about him.

The ref must've had x-ray vision. He was miles back and had a couple of players between him and the incident. Never a penalty, Maloney went down far too easy.
-
But if you look at Frankie's team, there are 5 full internationals in there. With the rules on under-21s in the squad for league games, surely it woukd be a bit churlish to then complain if there are too many playing!

The reason why Davis is here instead of the EPL is because his final ball and decision making aren't of the quality required for an EPL midfielder.

Nothing quite like a knee jerk reaction. Beattie will score more for us than Boyd will for Boro.

I thought McCulloch was excellent last season. I think he's the one player we have who really inspires and motivates - to take a theme from another thread - those around him. I think however, after much experimentation, his best position is a holding midfielder as part of a 3 man midfield in front of the defence. As part of a two, I think Edu is a bit more dynamic despite not starting the season very well. I think if we're sticking with this formation then Edu should be first choice.

I'm a big fan of his, but enough is enough. We really need cover there now.

Are you just a typical Italian football fan who doesn't rate the SPL despite not having a clue what you're talkin about?
-
You're right of course, I've never seen him play, but I once saw a picture of him and I don't rate players with curly hair
-
Aye, I could just see you at halftime - 'I'm glad we're 4-0 down with no chance of winning. They're a much better team so Walter was right to go for 2-3-5 formation' It wasn't a fluke, both were down to tactics and the best use of the available resources. That's what managers are paid to do, not entertain neutrals. I do belive Cuellar was signed by Walter to defend, that's what defenders do. Carlos was by far the best player in that team, so of course it would lok like he was carrying us - maybe Walter shouldn't have signed somene as good so that the rest of them would look better

I think going forward we are covered with Beattie, Jelavic and Weiss coming. It's at the back we need cover, we need a left back a centre half and a centre midfielder.

ValenciA is not a bad draw. Lost villa and Silva, we could do them at home

Lovin' the cricket Loyal :-D

I'm getting excited now. I reeeeeeeaaaaallly want Madrid :-)

Can't see us going after another winger, especialy someone who will command his sort of wages. Never realy rated the guy anyway.

Stick me down for the Hamilton game seeing as noone else appears to be down for it :-)

Hibernian 0 - 3 Rangers: Player Ratings and MoM Poll
juffery replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
He's always looked chunky, but I did think he's looking tubbier than usual. -
Yeah, that's kinda how I feel. I said a few days ago, if we're gonna get pumped it might as well be by the best, a team like Madrid would be fantastic, but the prestige of going a bit further or even getting into the Europa league, along wit the finances would be nice. I do feel though that the squad is still light and another season like the one that culminated in Manchester would be too much and would comprimise our league challenge, which has to be the priority. Would be great to see Mourinho's face when we beat them at the Bernabau though :spl:

I think for the quality of his 3 goals, it has to be with :sn: just behind. The rest were pretty poor I thought. -
I reckon he's hoping for something like that!!
-
Yup, that's how I see it too. Would much rather see the bug teams than getting mediocre teams that we still can't beat!
