I wouldn't call it bullied. I'd call it fouled, but the ref let them do it. I have no problem with our team spirit and I reckon these guys are a different breed to the tippy tappy soft touches of the Warburton team. We stood up to Hibs, looked them square in the face but got punished for it.

Followed with an empty article. I didn't see it, but it sounds like Jacko.

Even though I was disappointed at losing their first goal, I tend to agree. It was even at the point of the sending off and I would still fancy our chances from that point.

Jaws, I think the tactics were fine in the second half. I've got no complaints about any of the new guys. They played Pedro's tactics well I think. We had to stand off and let them have the ball. If we continued the high press, we'd have been picked off and likely been knackered with half an hour to go. They scored a 1 in 10 shot and we had chances. They were always going to have more of the ball but they never looked like running away with it.

Your description of the sending off is almost exactly what I posted not long after it happened. It now looks like the ref took advice from the lino. The general consensus on forums and social media is exactly the same across the board. As you say, I'm fine with our performance. Bring on the next game.

The Rangers TV coverage shows Jack grabbing the hibs player, but after that, Stokes comes in and puts his forehead against Jack's but Jack stands his ground initially before backing away. Basically two hibs players go for us and Jack gets a red!!!!! Shocker!

I'm not sad to see him go but I don't think for one minute he was poor for us. He always gave 100% and scored some nice goals. He will always, for me, be representative of a defined era within our journey. As I said, I'm not sad to see him go because it means we are moving on, but I definitely appreciate what he did for us. Good luck to him!!

Hopes for me is the same as any other Rangers fan - I want to win everything we play in. Realistic hope is that we will click fast, win a cup, beat them at home twice and take the challenge for the title all the way. Gut feeling is not so good. I fear that we will continue to be inconsistent during the first half of the season and drop behind them. That worry doesn't extend to beating the rest. However, second place by double figures from the team in third place I think is a certainty. Third place prediction is St Johnstone. They won't be anywhere near the same level this season, so I feel that we will be much closer this season but I fear we will still trail them by 8-12 points.

Apart from Wallace, Alves would be a shocker for me!! The rest probably comme ci comme ca.

Maybe we should have a "safe list" and "blacklist" of media... My blacklist includes the Record, Twitter, and all click bait "news" sites.
