  1. My new team would be: 1. Foderingham 2. Wallace 3. Hodson 4. New 5. New 6. Kranjcar 7. New 8. New 9. New 10. New 11. McKay
  2. I think it's a case of changing half a dozen at most. And the spine is most important. Two good Centre Half's, two good midfielders and two good forwards. Tav out, Hodson in. Hyndman out Kranjcar in. Then top up with another one or two quality players in January.
  3. I took it that the Director of Football was the Head Coach's boss. Is that not the case? Directors are normally one above Head Of's...
  4. If we had to write the job description for DoF, what would be the ten Essential Duties?
  5. They've got strict liability in England though.
  6. I should add, I've got no reason to believe this guy was a peado, he may or may not be. It's the reporting of it that I'm infuriated by!!!
  7. The guy was either a coach or a scout!!! Coach sounds better in a headline and bringing Jock Wallace into it is a scandal. Go to England and see if they splash Liverpool all over the headlines for this guy!!! I fucking guarantee you they don't. The scousers rammed it right up the Sun and so should we!!!
  8. Any good Gerrys looking for a job dB?
  9. If I guess correctly will I be forever know as ITK? Uuuumm, Billy Sloan's the name I heard. Just saying........
  10. Lawrie's a polly these days is he not. Still, he'd jump at the Gers job, as long as he could work from the Central Coast ?
  11. Sydney FC are storming the league here this season and Adelaide won last season. Victory are now second after 19 games and prime place for a good run at the finals. Can't say Muscat is much more highly thought of than any other manager in the A League. Although I don't watch much of it, I do listen to the SBS World Game podcasts and he's just another manager as far as they are concerned. The standard is miles below Scotland but he obviously knows a bit about us. I'd be surprised if it's him.
  12. Maybe Del should hire MW's agent to discuss the matter with his current club ?
  13. Robbie Neilson would have been quoted too if he hadn't moved from Hertz, especially since McInnes and Wright are being talked about.
  14. He is really trying to make us lepers. His words like basket case, rudderless ship, are pure sensationalism. Richard Wilson at least presents a very balanced view. I enjoyed Kris Boyd, an inside take on Billy Davies. It's worth a listen.
  15. In quite prepared to get shot down on this one Ian, just my opinion. As I said not my first choice but I wouldn't complain.
  16. ? not popular and probably unlikely. All I will say is it wouldn't be Eck of old, he's developed a bit since then (according to himself), I've heard him talk a few times recently on various ex pat TV broadcasts of our games and some other outlets who have interviewed him. He talks a very good game these days, so that's my reasoning. However he wouldn't be my first pick, I'm not sure who that is actually. All I'll say is I wouldn't be gutted if Eck got the job again.
  17. I'd take Eck in a heartbeat. Permanent
  18. Oh shit. This is seriously poor.
  19. I respectfully disagree with your opinion on the style of play. I get it, but don't agree. Having a philosophy is great, and I wouldn't want any old hoof it and head it tactic again, but I really doubt his philosophy is going to work. We need to have the ability to change tactics or risk being stifled time after time when teams park the bus and press us high. Relying on teams tiring is not a great plan. Comparing his philosophy to Brenda, even Brenda changes his approach from time to time according to the circumstances. MW's reluctance to adapt is going to kill him.
  20. Sorry, by 'best players' I meant Hyndman, he's a good player. I'm not against the loan system, but when we need to sacrifice our aims in favour of other teams, I fail to see where the advantage is. If we can't use Hyndman to our benefit, what's the point?
  21. dB - I consider myself to be as reasonable as they come. I'm in Australia and totally removed from all that you state, (by the way, it feels great to be out of the stinking bigoted cesspit of the Glasgow gold fish bowl). However, I still love Rangers and I see us as the best team in Scotland. Every game is against C***ic in some way shape or form. I demand and expect better than we are getting in light of the resources MW is furnished with. I can't accept drawing with Ross County, (home or away) no matter how far we ran or how many shots on goal we had. Saying that we just got promoted is moot too. We got promoted from League 1 to the Championship, McCoist (& McCall) failed and paid the price. It wasn't good enough. MW came in and romped the Championship with a Premier League squad, so had time to build and plan for the top league challenge, he knew the target back then and accepted it, so although it makes sense that a promoted team would be having a great season if they were in our position, clearly that does not apply in our case. He is on the verge of failing to hit an agreed target, i.e. second and into Europe, not just Europe as is commonly quoted. We are right to voice our concern. I won't accept being a babysitter for Bournemouth, when it affects our ability to win games. If we need to remove our best players to placate the 'parent' club, and subsequently fail to win, it is not worth it.
  22. His patter makes me cringe!! There should be no randomness involved when we should take three off teams like this!! The fact that there is not enough of a gap between us and these teams allows "randomness" to play its part! Get better in all areas and your "randomness" is insignificant!! BH nails it above. NOT GOOD ENOUGH MARK!!! And while you're at it Mark, let's sign Mo Farrah and stick him in the midfield. I'm sure he would outrun any other player in the country...
  23. David Brent: Well, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that Neil will be taking over both branches, and some of you will lose your jobs. Those of you who are kept on will have to relocate to Swindon, if you wanna stay. I know, gutting. On a more positive note, the good news is, I've been promoted, so... every cloud. You're still thinking about the bad news aren't you? Seriously though, there's no progress at all under Warburton to enable us to say anything positive? If we think back to the famous Messi quote, "anti-football", I'd much rather be winning and competing with that style than this contemporary pretentious shite. If the modern way works, then great, if not change the way we play.
  24. Nothing complex about it... Step 1 - Successfully sue D&P Step 2 - Pay creditors Step 3 - Administrative restoration under section 1024 of Companies Act 2006 Step 4 - Transfer assets and contracts (except SD ) Step 5 - Wind Up "NewCo"
