Can't say I want either to be honest...

Thanks mate...

Great Job Jon... But you best make a new topic for the actual results...
-
Probably for services to British sport but he does actually do a lot of charity work as well.

I agree but well done nonetheless Fergie...

Announcement On Official Site From Murray About Bain...
Frankie replied to Koeman's topic in Rangers Chat
Bain takes a lot of stick (to avoid any mud sticking to his boss) but in the last few years he's made a lot of mistakes while at the same time being able to accept some partial credit for getting the club back on an even financial keel. Anyone who has met the man will know what kind of guy he's like. I wouldn't trust him in the slightest but some of the criticism aimed at him can be well over the top. As I say, I doubt he'll be around much longer anyway in the medium term. -
Announcement On Official Site From Murray About Bain...

This is a personal thing and I doubt anything will come of it. Murray is just heading off any damaging media coverage at the pass. Pity he's not so quick to defend the fans and other aspects of the club. As for Bain, his shelf-life is coming to an end anyway. People in these type of jobs never hang around too often. He won't last another year IMO. -
Aye, the venue can hold 1500 people if necessary. But we won't need that many seats. It will be more like 200-300. Just depends on ticket sales, although they have been pretty good so far given it's the close season and appraoching folks holidays.

Ian and I are taking our 'better' havles btw... Anyone else who wants to bring their bf/gf/wife/husband or even a friend or two, feel free. I can amke sure everyone is accommodated together.
-
geo: Ian and I are from Tranent; come through with us (if there's room in the car)... Although we may be staying over at a nearby hotel.

Erm, so far. Frankie ian1964 del Cammy gerfem RB And anyone else who fancies it.
-
You'll be joining us then Geo...?

Injury prone and not worth IMO... More guess work from the 4th Estate. It really is funny watching them all scramble around for info nowadays.
-
Both of us. Just noticed the England KO is 5pm. Just fire over for that - I should be back from work by then.

RB: That's great mate. Due to my own and my mates personal circumstances, I'm going to hold off buying my tickets until the end of this month: ie about 2 weeks before the event. I suggest everyone who wants to go does the same (it should be around pay day for many of us) and once I know how many Gersnetters are going, I can get the organiser to put us all at one table (or 2 depending on numbers). It really will be a good night and like you say an ideal opportunity to put names to faces (then forget them again as you get drunk)... For £20 a ticket is really is great value. del, Stu, bmck and I all paid £50 a ticket for the annual dinner in March and that was worth it even at that price. Colin Stein and Graham Roberts will be staying for a beer or 2 afterwards as well and are always up for a chat and photo opportunities. Hopefully we'll have a few more legends there as well. Phoning one later today as a matter of a fact.

Cannae see the missus being too enthused with drunken lodgers on a school night... Taxi for del would be about £80... Not really worth it for an England game
-
Aye he did very well. Worked hard and was unlucky not to score.... Don't know if Marv is fit for the England game. Hope he is. Ian get yourself along to mine tomorrow for the England game if you fancy a couple of shandies. Bev is out and I'm babysitting Bob on my lonesome...
-
Haha... Never had a problem with it myself... Watte, em Warter, Ronald is easy to spell...
-
Just to let everyone know that Rangers legend Colin Stein has been added to the speaker list of this superb evening... We're also in talks with more of these guys which really makes the £20 ticket price look daft.

Done...

Go away Smalce you insufferable child.

I'm hoping the club and/or the fans groups will be releasing a follow-up statement very soon.
