  1. Just how much of the game would the subway loyal miss? Oaft.
  2. There's a shitload of things that annoy me about our game, tbh a goal celebration way doon the list! 😄
  3. I enjoy the whole shimmy routine, with the taker trying to outfox the keeper (as a neutral, I'd be far too nervous to watch one of ours do it!), it adds to the theatre. And speaking of theatre, the celebrations are great too, football getting dragged into the entertainment industry, despite the alf garnetts.
  4. The commentary is fine, Dublin is dense though.
  5. Staunch compo, that's the spirit.
  6. They've admitted themselves, they have little in terms of data, but they have to act on that data, understandably. Keep the baw on the deck. 😄
  7. This will live with me for a very long time.
  8. Aye, if they're both falling from the same height, but you see clearances going way higher than the old balls did.
  9. We've done this before, but once again, it's about force, which is a result of mass x acceleration. Yes, the old ball was heavier, but because of this, the velocity of the ball was much less (look at old pathe reels, wee looping crosses). Because its a lighter ball, then it can be fired in at a much higher speed, resulting in an equally high force. And factor in the players are physically far more advanced than ye olden days, and you'll realise the force is higher. I
  10. History is littered with players being transformed under different managers, let's hope that's the case with Matondo. Ridvan hasn't really had a chance to get going to be fair to him.
  11. All clubs attract fuckwits.
  12. Spot on Gonzo, pretty sure LFC are a well run, modern club, 'rancid' is a bit bizarre.
  13. He answered the Morelos stuff really well. Let's see how that works out, it really is time for him to grow the fuck up, for the clubs sake, and also for his career.
  14. Agreed. In terms of Souttar, I'm still hopeful he can be the next Alan McLaren rather than Paul Ritchie....
  15. A couple of things that stood out in that interview was his 'get back to standards' comment - quite telling I think, and also the reiteration that he's no one's friend, he's the shouter, the disciplinarian. Good interview, can't fail to be impressed.
  16. He'll have been watching our games intently, remember he saw us actually playing some decent stuff in the flesh a few weeks back, albeit against a bizarrely set up Aberdeen defence. MB will know who he can trust. I can't wait to see us back soon. Intae thum.
  17. Indeed, it's not so long ago we had a thread 'in praise of Ross Wilson' 😉
  18. Christ no, there's folk on here still shouting about Gullane 🤣
  19. If compensation is his driver, he'd have surely gone to Wolves. A penalty kick for a pay off.
  20. Any more embarrassing than the glut of mediocrity standing behind Gio those season Rousseau?.
  21. Absolutely spot on. I wouldn't be surprised if Morelos doesn't ever acheive the levels that we seen him at for the rest of his career.
  22. Omnishambles?. The issues at a club, or any business, rarely lie in isolation, there's generally always more than one. However, your average fan struggles to get their head round this, and cannot see past what their chosen root cause is.
  23. Not quite. Fitness, hard work, knowing their roles, shape and a few very tidy footballers. Pretty much us in EL last season.
  24. Sacked manager alludes to excuse shocker. He's not exactly gonna say there were no issues, is he?.
