  1. Absolutely, but my job is just that, a job, not the sport I've loved doing since I was a boy. And as for the Dross County analogy, there's some utter dull, soulless stadia/teams in England too. I bet Claudio Reyna is glad he went to Sunderland.
  2. Imagine how disappointed you'd be, looking back on your career, thinking you'd swapped a packed Ibrox on European nights, the place rocking as yet another team wilts under the lights.... For St Mary's and the mid table drudgery that follows.
  3. Drank wi him one night at a lock in, spent ages talking aboot how shite I thought Craig Moore was, he politely disagreed!. He then bought a bottle of vodka fae behind the bar and put it up for a game of killer. Which he won, easily of course. Was a cracking guy, an evening I'll never forget. God bless you and those gloves Goalie. 💙
  4. Christ, the resident Alf Garnetts are oot in force! 🤣
  5. Rangers is a broad church, we don't, and are not forced to, all think the same way. It's one of the many things that make us great. Other clubs may differ.
  6. Yup, clubs generally won't break their wage structure on someone just because they don't have to pay a transfer fee either, so it doesn't often pay.
  7. I reckon 55 season was the best, most flowing football I've seen us play in my 47 years on this earth. This season is the best I've seen us play in Europe, we feared no one, and blew some 'better' teams off the park. You would think some folk have been watching Saltcoats Vics. Ross Wilson has done very well for us, and I can't wait to see us after Gio has had a proper transfer window and preseason. Bring it.
  8. Do you ever have a positive input to a thread?.
  9. It certainly will! Tbh when SG left MB was the reason I was disappointed, he's clearly a very good operator. Whether your average over inflated English player looks beyond him not being 'a name' is another matter.
  10. 'Too many in our support love the benefit of hindsight, something the management team don't have.' Too true. Its only a few months ago there was a Ross Wilson appreciation thread, now some who agreed then have their knickers in a twist. Incredible how fickle we are.
  11. Absolutely. That is an absolute balloon, some of the drivel spouted makes you wonder....
  12. I'm seriously thinking I might be too nervous tae watch! 🙈
  13. I once heard twitter described as online public toilet graffiti, which is spot on. Great news, he's earned another year.
  14. I recall the fondly, a previous spurs friendly in the summer sun of Ibrox. Big Blessed Marv completely wiping out Robbie Keane, taking the ball, Keane, and a lump of Ibrox turf all in one splendidly timed interception. Highlight of the day that was. 😁
  15. My faither used to get mistaken for Sandy back in the day, it was pretty much his claim to fame. 💙 Both of them sadly gone.
  16. I have to say, GVB has has had a helluva last 3 games. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  17. Gio deserves a full preseason and a full season to follow, them we can think about judging him and his team.
  18. Aye, agreed, cracking interview. 👏🏻
  19. Absolutely Bill, it's a lesson our support never seem to learn. And it doesn't have to be new guys either, Borna and Kamara have been subject to it after dips in form of late too.
  20. Unbelievable football from us last night, GVB got his tactics spot on, that and the intensity we showed just blew them away. Brilliant to see the real Borna back, injuries and low confidence have robbed us of him for long enough now.
  21. I don't disagree with regards to the protests Bill, but bringing back the daft songs can jog on.
  22. I for one can distinctly remember us having quite a few of those types of performances during 9IAR. Sometimes ye just need to win.
