Christ no, there's folk on here still shouting about Gullane 🤣

Then he's s taking the job knowing that he will get a nice bit of compensation doesn't instil me with any confidence I just wonder how long he will last
If compensation is his driver, he'd have surely gone to Wolves. A penalty kick for a pay off.

Hopefully Beale brings Culshaw and Milsom back
Absolutely.

Any more embarrassing than the glut of mediocrity standing behind Gio those season Rousseau?.

I still think there might be a way back for Kamara under Beale, but who knows.
I'd definitely take whatever we can get for Morelos in January and finally move on from that chapter. I saw a couple of articles over the weekend saying that Kent really loved working with Beale, so not sure if that means he might be persuaded to stay?
Absolutely spot on.
I wouldn't be surprised if Morelos doesn't ever acheive the levels that we seen him at for the rest of his career.

Omnishambles?.
The issues at a club, or any business, rarely lie in isolation, there's generally always more than one.
However, your average fan struggles to get their head round this, and cannot see past what their chosen root cause is.

Not quite.
Fitness, hard work, knowing their roles, shape and a few very tidy footballers.
Pretty much us in EL last season.

Sacked manager alludes to excuse shocker. He's not exactly gonna say there were no issues, is he?.

I'm willing to stick my neck out and say i think he's the man for the job, I think he's a great coach who will end up a great manager and potentially in a few years would be out of our league, so this is the time to go for him.
Bring it on, canny wait to see us playing football like we did the 55 season. 💙

@Gonzo79 I hope you've been putting a few quid on these!

I know if I took charge they would be spending a fortnight at Gullane sleeping in tents and fed on hard tack until they got fit ,watching our lot these day’s it’s more like a Sunday pub team their fitness is not up to scratch .
Aye, let's get them back on the stovies, black n tans and capstan full strength anaw, that'll sort em.
I'm sure Beale and Culshaw (if it turns out to be the case) will get them fit, but actually fit, not rose tinted spectacle fit.

I'm not sure you'd ever find a manager with the win percentages that we crave or expect, anywhere. And if he was in a half decent league, would we even get him?.
I think any manager we appoint is always a gamble, as our situation isn't particularly common.

True, but he was out of the game for some time. Can you imagine us doing something similar now?
Be like us giving Bobby Wiliamson the job!

I'm easy ozy with it tbh, ascender is right, there's less risk in it.
Pedro and Le Guen were imaginative mind....

Mental to think he turned down Wolves and potentially hundreds of millions worth of talent to work in the SPFL but i respect the hustle. Shows he wants it. Lets go.
I was told yesterday by an ex employee of the club that Beale was being interviewed, was preferred candidate, and is desperate to get back up here. His family loved it here, to be honest it definitely seemed that way.
Happy to reveal source, just not on here, as he's a good friend.

There’s nothing wrong in pointing out a managers record as to why you would not wish him to be our next manager.
Absolutely, but there's also nothing wrong with a bit of balance. When the last managerial team left we were 4 points clear and hadn't got out of 2nd gear, and had that lot on toast, every game.

And also some of the best football we've ever played, but I digress, we as Rangers fans have a necessity to focus on the negative.

love the rangers fans online. Almost to a man think Dyche is shite.
I don't think he's shite, I think he's very good at what he does. I don't think that's what we're after, however.

Also, the bookies odds are rarely reflective of the actual names considered.

Tbf the board have been accused of shitting it by not sacking him, and now they've shat it by sacking him.
Who'd be a Rangers director, eh? 😬

I'd imagine if Gio had walked, he'd have put out a statement, but you never know.

Each to their own, he's not for me though.

That is true Gonzo, but its not the type of football I want to see, and our league is very different to the championship.
The football Beale had us playing after the covid break, and the hard work we put in, was the best football I've seen us playing in my 47 years. We need this approach again, I'm not saying Beale is the man, but I don't think Dyche is.
Postecoglu has been allowed similar powers at the piggery, but FWIW his side this season wouldn't have lived with our 55 team. But it's us that has allowed this to happen.
It's difficult seeing us rip everything up a year after putting yet another coaching set up in place.
I'm rambling now, I know.

Twas ever thus ascender. In the eyes of some of our fans a player is guilty until proven innocent, which has seen off many a player before they even have a chance over the years.

Indeed, it's not so long ago we had a thread 'in praise of Ross Wilson' 😉
