Welcome to the real world.

Aye, absolutely. Lowish wages, zero outlay, if it all works out, great, if not, ho hum.

Hopefully Goodwin 'smells blood' like he did last time we played them.

Spot on Cammy.
Tbh if Morelos goes, we should be fairly happy we got the goals we got from him over the time he was here for the small sum we paid for him.
Aye, it would've been great to get a big fee for him, but shit happens, we can't always do a Bassey.
Mibbe we should get compo, Gersnets very own Jim mclean, in as director of football....

My buddy who first told me we had gone for Beale 2.5 weeks ago also heard that we were back in for Barrie McKay btw.
Really interesting comments around Goldson, Tilman and Kamara in that interview.
Also, I really like to listen to Beale speak, he doesn't do the usual clichéd gaffer speak that most do.

No, I think we are past the used improperly stage.
It's no secret that he picks and chooses who he shows up against.
Pish.

That will be something of a miracle. Kamara hasn't shown any form for the last two years. He'd be one of the first off the books for me. No heart.
Did he not have a couple of good games against PSV? And he definitely had a few in the EL last season.
All too infrequent though, but I wouldn't say he's done nothing.

I think people will be amazed at the difference a performing manager will make in current players.
Agreed.
I genuinely think we've seen the best of Morelos, let him go, but the others may surprise us.

Just how much of the game would the subway loyal miss? Oaft.

There's a shitload of things that annoy me about our game, tbh a goal celebration way doon the list! 😄

I enjoy the whole shimmy routine, with the taker trying to outfox the keeper (as a neutral, I'd be far too nervous to watch one of ours do it!), it adds to the theatre.
And speaking of theatre, the celebrations are great too, football getting dragged into the entertainment industry, despite the alf garnetts.

The commentary is fine, Dublin is dense though.

this would be a good time for the fans to show their displeasure at the dross being offered on the park by taking your wife Christmas shopping
Staunch compo, that's the spirit.

They've admitted themselves, they have little in terms of data, but they have to act on that data, understandably.
Keep the baw on the deck. 😄

This will live with me for a very long time.

Aye, if they're both falling from the same height, but you see clearances going way higher than the old balls did.

Could understand it more if the balls were as heavy as the old bladders in our day; they had thick laces as well and were heavy enough just kicking never mind heading.
We've done this before, but once again, it's about force, which is a result of mass x acceleration.
Yes, the old ball was heavier, but because of this, the velocity of the ball was much less (look at old pathe reels, wee looping crosses).
Because its a lighter ball, then it can be fired in at a much higher speed, resulting in an equally high force.
And factor in the players are physically far more advanced than ye olden days, and you'll realise the force is higher.

History is littered with players being transformed under different managers, let's hope that's the case with Matondo.
Ridvan hasn't really had a chance to get going to be fair to him.

The Club’s fine. Some of it’s followers, though ……
All clubs attract fuckwits.

Spot on Gonzo, pretty sure LFC are a well run, modern club, 'rancid' is a bit bizarre.

He answered the Morelos stuff really well. Let's see how that works out, it really is time for him to grow the fuck up, for the clubs sake, and also for his career.

Good to see Lowry, Roofe and Lovelace all involved.
Yesterday's video also had Goldson and Souttar at the training ground so hoping those two aren't too far away either - same with Yilmaz.
Agreed.
In terms of Souttar, I'm still hopeful he can be the next Alan McLaren rather than Paul Ritchie....

Saw the Sky News interview last night. He spoke very well. I am excited to see if he can get a tune out of this team.
A couple of things that stood out in that interview was his 'get back to standards' comment - quite telling I think, and also the reiteration that he's no one's friend, he's the shouter, the disciplinarian.
Good interview, can't fail to be impressed.

He'll have been watching our games intently, remember he saw us actually playing some decent stuff in the flesh a few weeks back, albeit against a bizarrely set up Aberdeen defence.
MB will know who he can trust.
I can't wait to see us back soon. Intae thum.

If you drill down deep enough you could probably find something distasteful on pretty much every footballer, greed would definitely feature highly.
I prefer to try and watch it purely as a game, naive you may say, but I don't really care to be honest.
He's an absolute pleasure to watch.
