I'm with you Malky, that appears a more reasonable take on events. You see the vast improvements at Ibrox since PLG left, and in the same period PSG have gotten even worse and look strong candidates for relegation.

Re-edit: Og makes it 2-0. Put a fiver into my betting account Weds and have turned that into about �£120. May not be big bucks to some, but sure comes in handy for a student.

Sounds good in theory, but we'd just get lifted whilst these arsehoels enjoy being pampered in our stadium. It's a ridiculous situation that the people who hate us get treated better than we do at our stadium, and then get to print lies about us in teh following days papers. -
I just don't see that we have anything to play for to be honest. There's no chance of Aberdeen getting second imo.

He didn't though did he? He took over an already succesful Lyon team and maintained a good side. His record of spotting players for us was poor. I know money bla bla bla, but as has been pointed out, other managers have done it with bosmans (Boumsong) and cheap foreigners (larshole). Clement, Sionko, Sebo, Ponroy, Stanger. List goes on. Only one who was arguably any good is Clement. Who never actually played any great games, but just looked like he had potential. And that was only as PLG had had him at Lyon. Besides he undid that by taking the guy back to France.

I am aware of that, but the Sheep haven't won at Ibrox for 16 years, and going on their pitiful performance against a very poor 'Well side that's not about to change. Dull, easy victory for us, the fans not up for it. That's my prediction. And when we win, the atmosphere will just get worse.

Something like this may be the answer. Dignified silence did not work. We acted with dignity unlike the mhanks, instead they just attacked us without reproach whilst the mhanks undignified attacks on homes and threats meant they get off scot-free. A campaign of emailing directly to people with whom we have greivances, their superiors and the people supposed to monitor these individuals just led to us getting mocked. Direct action may be the only way forward. Barring that give these arseholes a shoe-ing! -
Probably right with the personnel and formation there tbh. Will do me as long as Barry supports Boyd as well as he did v Tel aviv and Rae and Sebo are dropped.

In reading the start of your post I was just about to write a response, but you wrote it for me. I have no faith in PLG's ability to spot a player. I know about Novo's contract, but my comment was more in reference to teh fact that Gribz would keep Sebo and Novo.

Sebo and Rae dropped for me. Sebo was every bit as "lazy" as Boyd last night. Not running about like he did v Celtic but allowing the opposition to play out of defence comfortably. More co-efficient points than ourselves last year or Cecltic this year in reaching the last 16 of the CL. Some small positive. You are right in praising these European "acheivements", but we need to match it with a strong domestic season.
